I have both 184016 and 124016 RC, I remove the original battery holder of 184016 and it is replaced by 2 plastic cable ties horizontally (front and rear)through the bottom four screw holes with the stock nylon tie through the 2 plastic cable ties. Now my 184016 can hold my 124016 2200mha battery as well, the stock one 1500mha
I have reviewed a few xk/wltoys products over the years myself they are very well made more hobby grade than toy and most of them can even handle even a 3s that's when they get even more lively :) but depends on the esc it has fitted as it can fry them lol but they are cheap enough to replace or upgrade :), also the brake + power on pull away etc can be adjusted by a plugin esc programming card, last one I had was spoiled by a cogging issue which was more noticeable in long grass under more stress, but still lot's of fun. Programmer for esc which used to work with most of them: Surpass Rocket 60A Waterproof Sensorless ESC Program Card..
That thing looks insane as if you’ve speeded the footage up. I built a Tamiya Hotshot 1 in the 80s (early 4WD) and it was and is (assuming the battery would take any charge) very slow! The technology has certainly marched on. Maybe time for a restomod?😂
Wl toys 124019 buggy, all metal upgrade including metal wing, metal gears, metal everything. Only things not metal is tires, and body shell, and if i could find a metal body, id have one on it. Replaced motor for brushless with new digital controller, new receiver. Every screw used orange thread lock, better than blue, but not imposible to get loose without heating red. Speed is insane on the track, can race our clubs big track, jump it 10 ft in the air, land it and no damage. Thing is a tank. Everyone else spending lots of time repairing, I dont have to repair shit.
Not interested in such silly speed but if only someone could make my old Tamiya Baja Bug last more than 5 mins which is all it would do when new then I would be interested!!! 😆
It's nice up that way, not a bad pub either, it's nice to sit outside and meet all the dogs being walked past.

Dang! That things fast!! 😮. Looks like a good time though. 👍👍
Good little kit n Good Tunes
I picked up a wltoys 124016 v2 last Xmas and on 2s it's fast on 3s it's an absolute rocket ship 🚀
Haha! Awesome!
That’s impressive! Back in the day you’d only see petrol RC cars moving that quick -and that was a massively expensive hobby

Oh no... I just ordered this for my 9 year old.. It's gonna be total carnage 😲
🤣... big field!
You think that's good for the money, Try the MJX Hypergo...😉
I have both. wltoys is faster and much more metal parts. MJX is more durable and has better build quality
I havent received my kit just the battery. I have sent a email tracking says its incorrect
will i be losing much for not going for 12 or 14 size? i plan to get this and change to bigger wheels for better suspension at high speeds.
This little car has insane potential...saw a couple moded ones hit 80 mph using 10th scale foam wheels..its faaassst!
Get it fpp'd xD
Great vid
I'm racking my brains thinking there's a joke about fast and Helen😂
Now imagine a TT electric 😉
It would be cool! Might be able to shoehorn a Tesla drive train in there...
Pretty sure this is the fastest 1/18 and 1/16 scale car out of the box on 2s lipo..i saw it hit 57mph on 3s..😊

Haha! Just stick a lipo pack in there!
@@andykirby Excellent!! Send me the conversion kit!! If it’s as good as your bike kit it’ll be brilliant 🤩
