Thank you again Jürgen, for all that you do to help people understand NX!
In the second half of the video, where you display the A and B for the CSYS, it looks great.
When I do it, I get the A and B for the CSYS, as well as the AB for the assembly CSYS, and
VAR for CSYS of the var.prt. What am I doing wrong?
    Warmest regards,
    Dennis

Thanks for the praise, DB. Do you mean the display of the name in the graphical area? I also changed the name of the object at 15:17. This is necessary to display the name in the graphical area. Check this step.

Amazing, I learned a lot, thank You.
Btw, I use value "1" for PLIST_IGNORE_MEMBER attribute. Didn't know "yes" works as well. Some say any value will do, but I haven't checked this yet.

Fantastic video, exactly what I needed.
Is there any difference in NX2212?

Well, I haven't noticed any change.

@@learnNX OK thanks. I haven't been able to apply this yet but it is definitely relevant to my regular workflow. Glad I found your channel because there is very little good NX material out there.

Could you explain PLEASE, why did you create the "var" file, what is the advantage of "var" file, why not expression defined directly in top asm file ?

    • @learnNX
      @learnNX  Год назад

In favour of the assembly is the fact that no additional component has to be created, which is then also displayed in parts lists.
In favour of the separate file is that this control file could also be used for other assemblies and everyone immediately sees that "central variables control the parts here".
Decide which advantage is more important to you!

Is it necessary to copy the var. part in the subassemblies to bring the expressions down to a different tree level? Or is it possible to link it directly from the main assrmbly to all levels? Thanks!

Hi Osca, you can insert the var into the main assembly, because the link always consists of source and parameter. The double colon serves as a separator. If you link from the main assembly, you should activate "Load Interpart Data" in the load options to automatically load the var in the background when loading a sub-assembly.

Please teach me how to add screws and pins from the standard. Thank you.

The next video has already been announced as "cloning assembly", but after that I could provide a small library for standard parts as a download and show how to use them.

Hi Shiva, after the Drawing course, I would like to start a Modular Design course and this course includes the topic of part families.

How do you Save As this assembly and components ? so interpart expression stay connected ?

    • @learnNX

As announced, next comes a video on cloning assemblies.
This command also clones all interpart expressions.
