Hi, very nice video. One question: if I use this for the skeleton methodology can I place the part with the origin geometry within the TOP Assembly and "publish" the wanted geometry into parts which are content of SUB assemblies? I know that this can be a bit tricky by working with an PDM system though. Thank You!
Hello Cristian, from your question I assume that you have been designing with Catia up to now, right? Of course, the sketch with the central geometries can also be in the main assembly. However, I always prefer a separate part so that I can also use this control sketch for other assemblies, which would otherwise not be so easy.
@@learnNX yes, I have been working with CATIA V5 and only used Skeleton with unique parts within an device. Never had the case to use same parts in different assemblies so far.
What's the best way to do the following Suppose we have a tube, 6 fittings are attached to it's surface. All fittings are same part in an assembly. If we add a hole series between a fitting to tube, all other fittings will have hole. Then we will not be able to do hole series between other fittings and tube. And tube will only have one set of holes from one fitting. How to add all other holes pairs
My problem: I do not yet understand your task. Please formulate it more generally, without pipes, fittings etc. Are the parts assemblies or individual parts? Should the hole be transferred from the assembly to an individual part or the other way round?
What a fantastic content on NX
I really appreciate the effort taken by Team Learn NX
Thank You for sharing 👌👍
Hello Sandeep, thank you for the praise. If you want to support us: share this channel.
Hi,
really helped a lot.
please make video on Product Interface & Wave Interface Linker...
thank you

Sometimes. Because the user interface can be customised, I had to be sure that everyone had this command displayed.
