Deadly heavy rains hit Pakistan & Afghanistan, flash floods in UAE

Unusually heavy rains have created deadly flash flooding in parts of South and West Asia and the Middle East. In Pakistan and Afghanistan, more than 100 people have died and more than 1,200 houses have been destroyed. In addition, over 63,000 acres of land have also been damaged.
Meanwhile, the United Arab Emirates is trying to recover from the heaviest rains ever recorded there, which were enough to flood out the Dubai International Airport.
