As much as I feel bad for this people, but it's time to learn to avoid future repeated of the same, this is the 2nd time we are witnessing the entire village being wiped out by upstream dam.
We all knows what caused this disaster, the tunnel was blocked by lose soil, what causes the lose soil and landslide, over logging and destroy the natural vegetation that could have helped consolidate the soils and control the water by sucking it and stored in aquifers deep down the ground.
When we abuse nature, we endangered our lives and the lives of the next next generation.
Empty promises as usual.

As much as we agree that this is a disaster, which of course can happen anywhere and at any time, poor planning and lack of good surveillance and monitoring systems and infrastructure has massively contributed to this disaster. It was obvious that we had heavy rains and therefore this dam could have been monitored. Who is accountable for this?
