Thanks for being honest and giving a great review.
My pleasure!
The old stuck to the shovel trick eeh lol. Nothing like an honest review as a product "is what it is". Looks like a terrific little machine for the up and coming detector.....Good one mate.
Thank you Ozzy.
I got this one today for Christmas. I’ve never done metal detecting, and have always wanted one (was a gift from my sister). I’m 58, and would like any advice from people who are the pros! Thank you in advance 😊
I would not say WIlma I am a Pro but thanks for the compliment. If you would like drop me an email at Mark-TBH@comcast.net and I can try to answer any questions you have.
I got this one for Christmas this year and suspect I’m doing the same thing you did last year-looking for reviews on it. Please let me know what you think about it and what you’ve learned this past year. Thanks
I’ve just bought the panky75 before looking at videos. Most say it only goes 4 to 5 inches deep and that’s not enough. What are they looking for. I would think most items your going to find are going to be closer to the top of the soil. If I go to an area were people have recently been, items will be closer to the top. I didn’t buy mine to be a hardcore searcher, just something to have fun with and find things around the farm and some areas near our house.
It is a decent entry level machine. Instead of spending 1000 on a Nox 800 or like 800 for a Legend the person is not out much money if they decided this is not the hooby fore them
Great review Mark 👍The heat and bugs are pretty bad here also. Seems to be a pretty good starter machine 😊
Thanks CCC. I hope whoever wins it in the upcoming Raffle for Charities is able to either use it themselves or better yet, give it to someone who is interested in the hobby
Fun hunt Mark. Interesting review Mark. Great editing
Thanks Deej. I do not think I will do another review though. It's not me.
Hey Mark nice little video. I’ve never heard of that machine before. But it looks like it’s pretty easy to use for a beginner. Happy hunting take care stay healthy.
Super simple Troy. It is a rather new-ish company and that model is the only one they currently make.
Looks like a good machine to start to see if you like the hobby. Good job Bud.
As a beginner machine yes sir. For someone who has ben at it for awhile... No
Very neat little detector.. Coo little hunt with it..
Thanks Dan
A great review of a good beginners machine, Mark!💖
Glad you think so!
Good honest review looks like it will be a good option for for beginners and someone on a budget .👍🐆
Beginner yes but I think there are cheaper beginners models out there
BOOM. Honesty...love it. Thanks Mark
I try Russell.
Nice review. Thanks for sharing and take care.
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for an honest review.
My pleasure!
Hi Mark, definitely a good starter machine, but does it come in fluoro green, I'm not keen on pink 😁👊
Or is it red 🤔
Pink not your Color Jimbo lol 😆 You'd look good swinging that Down Under..
You could take it to the down under bar jim!
Pink is the only color it comes in right now. But Ozzy told me you loved the color pink LOL
LOL
Thanks for the review.
Any time
Done missed this one!!!
No worries Bill
Hi Mark , good info and a good review nice one mate ATB Rob 👍

Well Done! Pink is your color!
I thought it was Nathan... it goes well with my hair color... gray
What mode did you have it in when you found the bracelet?
Coin mode. When I use this mahine I always just use coin mode
Nice Mark 👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Nice review looks like a good beginner machine
I think so too Shane. I had a blast testing it
Top hunt mark you legend
Thanks Terry
I’m thinking of getting one for my son who is 8
Cool. The machine is a very good entry level machine plus it is not super expensive. This way if you son doesn't like the hobby then at least you are not out 400 dollars.
I refuse to pay less than $9000.00 for a metal detector. If they raise the price I might try one. A guy in Dallas in the 80s had some very good registered puppies but he wanted out of the puppy business and put an ad in the paper only charging enough for the puppies to cover the cost of the ad. He got no phone calls at all. He asked his friend why nobody in Dallas wanted such great puppies at a giveaway price? His friend told him, "You`re not charging enough. Nobody wants cheap puppies!" So he placed a new ad asking $500 per puppy instead of $25 and sold them all within minutes of the paper being distributed. You can almost hear the buyers bragging about how much their puppies cost. He should have charged way more and made them ever prouder.
I'm not sure why some people think expensive is the best otption. I usually pick the middle product in price.
who is that masked man swinging that pink detector???
It's the Lone Hunter... Hi-Ho Gold let's go
Is TBH short for "To Be Honest" ?
That is cool Darren. Nice little play on the initial there.
Pink
Right now that is the only color it comes in Barney
I hate red ants and have always questioned why they exist. I have a hard time distinguishing sounds sometimes... did you just say that the regular ants having a reason to exist while red ants don't?? If so, THANK YOU!! I hate red ants, no need in the world for them, just like black widows and brown recluse.
I think Red ants are a gift from Satan himself to let up diggers know that yes he is still around. Yeah I don't really mind the black ants. I get a kick out of them being able to lift huge loads that weight twice as much as they do
@@Mark-TBH that's funny!! Made me laugh, thanks.
Slow recovery speed=lots of missed targets
Hi Dave. This detector is only a beginners model so I was not able to change the recovery speed like you can on the Nox. Still it's a nice little beginner model for those that are really not sure this hobby is for them
@@Mark-TBH you don’t need to change the recovery speed on the simplex because right out the box it matches or outperforms the nox in some cases anyways, the simplex is a high end detector with a beginner detector price, with the nox you have to try to dial in settings just to hope to find a specific target in specific conditions wasting time pushing a bunch of buttons, take the simplex out turn it on and find everything the nox will and then some.
120$ today
It's not a bad entry level machine.
