I just started watching your tutorials and I love them they are great! you should make a full one about reverse grip with 1 or 2 blades like starkiller that would be awesome!
Began writing a story were the main character uses two lightsaber was having difficulty picturing how Duels would play out so thanks for the video really appreciate it
I would love to see a re-enactment/tutorial of the lightsaber battle with Kao Cen Darach against Malgus and Vindican in the Old Repiblic trailer "Return". I think it would be interesting to see the coreography and the blocking and attacking styles between the 3 characters and to see a full re-enactment... Love your videos too. Keep it up👍💯
Love your videos. I bought an Ing Chao saber last night and let them know you sent me. ;) I definitely need to work on my Jar'Kai, so any choreographed fights I can learn from you are appreciated. Keep it up man!
Falcão Gamer I think eventually I’d want to have tutorials on all the lightsaber forms. We do have a tutorials on obi vs ani so you could get some form 5 ideas from that for now.
@@Mikestarwalker Thank you. Could you do a tutorial on Anakin vs Dooku's fight in Episode II? I didn't quite understand why the camera focuses more on their faces.
Please don't be offended as this is not meant as a dig but rather a genuine question. At 0.55 I noticed that only one blade is in use with the other kept held back. Would it mot be more practical to utilize the second blade to counter strike at the same time? That way you get the full benefit of having two blades. At 0.55 for example you have his weapon blocked with the left hand. A quick slice from the weapon in your right hand at that moment could take out your opponents left wrist whilst his arm is extended. Taking off his hand at the wrist. His right hand weapon is all the way back behind his head so wouldn't be likely to help him at that point. Like I said just genuine curiosity. There may very well be a practical explanation I haven't thought of
Hi there! Just wanted to say that I’m a big fan of your work and your tutorial vids and I got my own pair of katana sabers not too long ago and I am practicing how to spin both but I dont have an open space or time to practice
Love these videos, love the work. Been following you guys on Instagram for a while and I’m always impressed by the work. Could you add the basics and numbering videos in the description? We’ve been inspired by the work you do and reference you guys as well. Please keep up the awesome work.
@@MikestarwalkerEver tried using Jar'kai on 2 double bladed lightsabers? Or maybe using 3 double bladed lightsabers with the 3rd double bladed lightsaber on mouth.
Hmm, fascinating. I'd be interested in your thoughts on blade length for dual wielding. Do you recommend standard or shorter blades? Also, for a tutorial, how about looking at how some of the 7 forms can work with dual wielding? In particularly I'm interested in Makashi with 2 sabers.
I personally have found that using a normal length blade in your dominant hand and using a shorter blade in your non-dominant hand is best IMO. Worked for Ahsoka I guess 😅
Can you make a flourishing tutorial for the dual wield? I figured out figure 8s and some other ones but I would like to see a level 3 spin with 2 sabers
my go to stance is the open arms stance from harakiri, a very risky stance, but throws your opponent off by making them assume your mocking them by saying "hey, im letting you attack, your that weak i dont care" when the stance really means "im skilled enough that i can leave myself open, so do you feel lucky punk"
In a realistic fight you want to use one saber to block/parry and one to attack, giving yourself the capability of changing it up throughout the fight to throw your opponent off
My question is how woulld you block with one saber if your opponent goes for your left and right side at the same time? I haven't realy come up with a way to block both.
i tend to fight with smaller blades cause im a shorter guy the 26 inch bladed to be exact it’s better control for me and doesnt put as much pressure on my arms
I'm curious if you have any actual sword training. I teach krabi-krabong (double and single sword) and I can see some nice basics but certain grips making it very easy to lose your grip on your weapon. As well as your footwork seems to be backwards from most of the styles I've seen or studied. Still find the video entertaining, as I said simply curious.
Hey I'm a new content creator and I do the same thing they did here and will start uploading soon. I have been learning how to use lightsabers for years now and am ready to teach double bladed sabers, single bladed and all sabers. I promise to teach only the most effective ways to strike your opponent and I hope to see you on the channel.
To say you are "Dual Wielding" is to say you have doubled your control or use of a singular thing. That's incorrect. You are wielding (controlling/using) duel (TWO) light-sabers. So you wield or are wielding, dual light-sabers.
most of the time the second blade is brought behind the user not being used and it seems like a complete waste of a blade. why are you only attacking with 1 blade at a time when you have 2? kinda painful video to watch
I would love to see a double bladed lightsaber basics.

A tutorial for some duel welding flourishes would be pretty good
Or something for when you use a shorter sabsr in your off hand
this (the second one)!
A smaller second saber is called a shoto.
@@liamcruse739 Yeah I wanna fight with a shoto in off-hand but didnt find any dueling shoto lightsabers

I am late, but I actually did my own custom stance with one reverse and one normal, it actually looks pretty cool and is damn useful.

Dual flourish tutorial
Sweet!
To the people who are both a righty and a lefty they will see this as an absolute win
I would've loved some more clear numbering of the moves.
Note to self:
Basic blocks,
Blade parry, lock and bind into x blade cross agants enemy.
Cross slashes,
And just watch the 9 count part

Video on style like Ahsoka?
Tutorial for the choreography?
This could be summed up simply as:
Lead with your strong hand, and alternate hands while preparing for attack with non lead hand.
I just bought me a 2 pcs lightsaber set off my Walmart app and I'm New to lightsaber training
I had my staff take pictures of me in lightsaber stances on my iPad

what editing platform do you use for the lightsaber sounds
My question is how woulld you block with one saber if your opponent goes for your left and right side at the same time? I haven't realy come up with a way to block both.

Is there a Jar'kai version of Form 5?
I know this is an old video but how would seresu work dual wielding? Does it work?
Now what are all the numbers you're mentioning? Why are they used?
are the light saber sound effect from the actual sword or did you edit them on each strike?

Does this apply with a shoto in the offhand?
Question, what would you see the target zones for form 5. I believe it follows the form 2 zones or am I off?
What sabre you use
For the 5 and 6 cross block, are u "sandwiching" the enemy lightsaber?
