RARE! 1hp Nelson Brothers Air cooled Engine START UP!

cute all original engine I got at an auction a few months ago. was stuck but i broke it loose and got it running was going to make a video on it but ended up getting rushed for time so only ended up with the finished product.

That’s a cool little engine. It sounds like it has an intermittent miss. Is that normal for these antiques? I have a Delco light plant motor made in 1917, and it does the same thing. Thanks for your vids. I always enjoy them.

these sattley and nelson bros engines do that a lot i think its something with the carburetor system. delcos normal dont do it to bad unless you have a burnt valve perhaps? no load on one makes them do weird things to but not a lot of people have much for 32 volt equipment.
