- Removing the ugly red paint to find the original underneath. friend bought this engine few months ago and I offered to remove the ugly red paint but it ended up taking several hours of hand cramping work to get it back to the gorgeous original paint hiding underneath. hope you all enjoy!

Much better with the paint off revealing the original old engine, the effort removing those paint jobs is always well worth it !
Cool little engine 👍👍🇺🇲
Fascinating! Really enjoy all your vids…
Nice runner 👍🏻
Indian Red paint is what the original colour was known as.
Darn beautiful engine!
Sweet Indeed young man.
Just found your channel and Subscribed. Very nice engine
Thank you! Share it with your friends! It was definitely a unique engine to work on
I am surprised by the moving bits inside the cylinder. I haven't seen it before. I imagine this engine has fairly low compression.
You intend to paint it up, Mr Cruddy? I know you like the patena look, as do I especialy when stickers and transfers get presrved. But you have a naked little engine now.
I agree, at this point it needs paint.
Naked is underselling this engine there is about 60% or better paint left on the engine so no point in repainting something with that much original paint.
That engine would have been painted maroon
And that's the color it is.
i woud prefere to paint it in original colur nice engine
Would this run a washing machine back in the day?
Do you have any Olds Seager hit and miss engines?
