Sitting For 50+ YEARS! Will it Run? 1954 6.3HP Clinton 1600 Engine

This is one of the nicest Clintons I have ever found. and to top it off it runs almost perfectly! this engine was almost NOS when I got it only being run for a few hours at best.

What a great engine, I like the front shroud details & the decals are in great shape. I once fixed up a Clinton A-400 for my old shop teacher & really appreciate how these old Clinton engines were made...✌👍

Boy , did you get lucky on that startup . That Clinton fuel line was made pre - ethanol gasoline and should be used as display only 👍👍🇺🇲

Great running engine. I had a Techumseh engine on a minibike and it ran good. Also, my dad had an old walking tractor with a Clinton engine on it. Cheers!😁👍🔧

It sounds like a nice engine, but it also sounds like there is a knock in the motor. I would check that out before doing anything with it.
