  • I couldn't find any clear or informative info on a ebay ignition switch. Putting the resister on is easy, realizing the way it comes wired is another story. not one video went over the misplaced wire connector. So here ya go. Your welcome. if it helped you please like

Bloody hell, I was just about to spend $300 on an ECU when I stumbled across this. The wire swap fixed the dead "ON" switch and the resistor fixed the no spark. This was the exact fix, in my case. And yeah, it was a $55 set from Ebay that looked perfect, gas cap and seat lock included, but no bueno on startup.

Dude... you. Are. The most amazing human on earth. I've been searching for HOURS on how to do this and there wasn't a single video or single thread with good detail and no one knew when I asked. I randomly found your video after searching for the 1000th time today after scrolling for hours and your video helped me in minutes.... you my friend do not have enough likes. If it's ok with you I will be posting this om reddit and Facebook groups and everywhere I can so hopefully you get the recognition you deserve. Thanks so much man. Wow.

If you don’t swap red and orange wire you won’t get any spark?

Hey just seen your video and I have a question , does the red wire from the ignition switch run directly to the main fuse relay? Or is my wiring wrong on the ignition side ?

The Red wire comes from the battery ,,yes from a fuse

This is for a 01-03 gsxr. Katana is probably a different lock cylinder but basically the same but colors may be different
