Thanks Dean, your way to kind, it seems here lately, lots of these projects have been trying my patience. The good Lord gets me through them and on to the next. When is your next episode coming out. You have me hooked on those little two strokes.
@@montana2strokeracer there will be a video out this week hopefully, but it's about the Milling Machine. More Bantam antics (Bantics?) to follow very soon. Glad you are keeping well my friend. God bless.
Was watching some of my old videos. And your BSA buddies. I found that a lot of the RUclipsrs that I was subbed to for some reason I was in subbed not sure why that happens.
Hi Dale. I liked your video on the ignition switch. My 1983 suzuki sp250 came with a 6 wire aftermarket switch. On the main wiring harness there is a 9 pin connector but only 8 are being used. I picked up a new oem switch for sn 85 sp250. I dont have the original switch that the bike came with but most of the wiring are the same colors. I tried hooking it up and had no luck. The only wire im getting power to is the black and the yellow. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Dennis from warren Michigan
Oh wow, when you don't have the old switch, you will probably have to trace the wires where the switch plugs in to the main harness and relabel any different colored wires. Most of the aftermarket switches I have seen have the eight wires in the connector/connectors and a single ninth wire which is just a ground. It has been a long time since I did this, but the switch is divided into daytime (first click) nighttime (second click) so knowing that you can tell which lights/switches etc. are in operation. The reason you're not getting power but to one wire is because the switch is not wired right and is not sending power out to the other wires. What will make things easier is if you could find a used switch even if no good to trace wires and see which wire is switched when. A good wiring diagram would also be helpful. I don't remember for sure on the one I did, but I want to say I had to pull and relocate more than half the wires to line up with the old switch.
Dale always seems to know where we'd need help. Before you know it, another great video! Masterful work, Dale.
Thanks brother, thought I was going to need some help with that one.
Excellent video Dale. You always show the virtue of patient, methodical work.
Best wishes, Dean in Oxfordshire, UK.

I'm not familiar with Hank Hill.

Not quite sure what you mean.
@@montana2strokeracer a lot of the ones I have subscribed to have gone away. Had to resubscribe to them
Oh I see, so far I have not noticed that on my end.
@@montana2strokeracer you will
That is great you were able to fix that.
Yes happy to have figured it out
Thanks brother 👍
No problem 👍

Does the switch fit in its place on the motorcycle
you bet
the black/white is found as a ground in the head light bucket on my tc100.
Thats what I was thinking but it was not used on this bike.
I like electrical wiring , Gas Grease and oil are so messy
I agree Mike, I'm not good at it, but the oil and grime is nasty.
frank here!
Yeah
Hey brother
HEYYYYY!!!
