So my bike got stolen luckily that the piece that was still attached the aftermarket one didn’t work so I just put old internals in new one! Thanks so much bro I’ve been trying to figure it out for 3days
The black contact piece was in backwards. The two ball contacts supposed to be towards the cap that you put on last, not on the contact plate that sits under it with the 100 ohm resister.
I put in a Chinese ignition in my 02 1000 and the damn thing about caught on fire... turned the key everything came on hit the ignition button and the wiring harness started smoking melted almost right to the ecu
I bought a chinese ignition switch for my 06 GSXF it started smoking and the outer wire has completely burnt off and for the OEM one im looking at 600 quid fuckin chinese shite
