great video has been a big help ....thank you I would like to see a video on by passing the clutch switch in the head light switch on the left handle bar ...thanks again
Thanks for your video on ways to solve ignition woes. My 01 gsxr750 was stolen and hotwired and then I got it back from cops. Missing ignition, key and a home made wiring gizmo connected to that green plug. I bought new locks n keys just like yours. White plug. To install new ignition cylinder so bike will work normally, don’t all those wires need to go somewhere? Is it really just those 2 wires + resistor that are mandatory? Many thanks
@109julian the 2 wires with the resistor are just the anti theft part. The other wires power fuel pump, lights, and some other things. Been a few years since I messed with these things. I have a few more videos on it on my channel. Might be worth a watch.
I'm still working on the same issue on my 2000 suzuki bandit 600 the original keyswitch had a key stuck in it so they busted the switch apart and messed it up I have to figure out where to put the resistor on my aftermarket keyswitch
I bought a wrecked bike to swap the engine into my rock buggy. Last owner took it all apart to begin replacing damaged frame. Any way I have got fuel pump turning on and got engine turning over but not getting spark. I made sure tip sensor is up right. Oh I also can't get a neutral light but clutch switch is bypassing that I assume. Any info would be appreciated 🙏 03 gsx-r 750.
I have almost zero knowledge of the 03 gsxr. But id start with checking the pluse generator, then check the voltage going into the ecu. There should be a wire with around 8.5 volts. Orange w/red tracer on my bike. Runs from the key switch to the ecu.If you have more than 8.5 volts the ecu thinks your steeling the bike. Theres a resistor in the ignition that burns out alot times causing the ignition to send 12v to the ecu.
@@ATCAdventureland ok I'm going to double check title for year. Think its 03 if I remember correctly. I'll check volts tomorrow when I get back to the shop. Thank you

Ok thank you. I know what you do now. Dont understand it cuz it seems like your cutting the ground and power out from the ign and jumping them. I think ill start with a new ign.
