- Gsxr 600 k6. Electrical problem that wont start. FI code c13,c14,c15,c21,c22,c23,c29,c31. it ended up being the ECU/ECM and all you have to do is a possible reflash, if not just replace the ECU

I got this issue aswell. Just ordered a ecu. Thanks for sharing
Thank you for the video!
Very informative!! 👌
Thanks for the video bro.
So, what really causes all the codes, is when the power is cut to all the 3 wire sensors. Mine had the 5v negative wire just outside the ecu break. If your getting those codes, pull off a 3 wire sensor like the tip over sensor and check the voltage between the outside most pins. It should be 5v or so. If its not, there may be a short, or an open line. If its a short, unplug all the 3 wire sensors 1 by 1 until you either fing the bad sensor, or find a short in the wiring harness/ECU
The bike sold in 2018. And this video is even older. Thanks for the info. But it was a list of things that could have caused it.
-HID kit - laid the bike down and prob damaged the ballast.
-After market alarm
-piggy back switch to the rad fan, I personally think that was the ultimate culprit. But lesson learned none the less.
These Frankenstein bikes scare the shit out of me. I owned one for a few years🤣
Just had C21 code pop up on my (bout a week into the troublshooting) '14 750, the wires for the sensor was giving normal 5 volts from my multimeter. Also passed the continuity test. Thinking I may be running into an ECU prob aswell, further testing needed. I did buy new sensor, that didn't fix anything. The insulation holding the wires into the couple came out (basically was glued in), aka not secure. Could be a bad coupler (if coupler is bad, ovciously there's going to be low or not voltage going to the sensor. Still figuring out what the exacty issue is.
BRO THANKs!
I got an F1 code and then I got it on dealer mode the gentleman was that it was a ignition wire I had broke my ignition cuz I got the key stuck in it now I got a new ignition wire a new ignition harness and nothing happened and I got a new stator I can't figure out what the problem is I think it's a wiring problem somewhere if anybody can help me out with this would be highly appreciated I'm desperate to ride
I think I saw on your other videos when you were figuring out what was wrong with it. I have a GSXR 1000 about from some dude that had f****** wrecked it. I noticed you have different colors Parts all over. I thought I would let you know I bought an entire kit for my bike three hundred bucks. It bolted right up to can I came and color shinier than f***

This was the final evolution of my bike before I sold it.
What does this have to do with a c14 code?
Hi have the same problems, did you have to buy a new ignition and key or did you just replace ecu
Just the ECU nothing els
@@imjus1guy so you didn't recode your key and ignition to the new ecu?
Correct. This was a Canadian spec bike which did not have a chip in the key. Just a regular blank key.
@@imjus1guy thanks so much, I just sorted out my loom and Ill tell you how far I got
minha moto deu um erro no painel c41 que sensor é esse onde fica uma Suzuki 650 gsxf
c41” (p0230-h/l) fp relay circuit malfunction
My bike made the same noise but it was my starter relay had fried. I'm currently getting a c13 code with no issues
And did the bike fire up after that?
@@imjus1guy when it made that noise yeah it fired up but also died like 3 times till the starter relay caught fire. Swapped out now have no issues. Two days ago the check light came on c13 error code which is the maf sensor note but still runs and starts as normal. Changing out the part today tho. I have a suzuki gsx s 750 2019
You have a different bike then a gixxer. This issue that I had was from the model 06-10 and it was a common defect in my opinion.
If your bike is anything similar then I would say the ECU is dying. But if it's not then you either have damaged wire somewhere, damaged relay or damaged sensor.
That's my best guess.
@@imjus1guy damaged sensor most likely bike has been fine prior.
@@imjus1guy ecu is fine 19 plate bike starts and fires up perfectly I stay in the UK ride all year.
I noticed you don't have the C11 error code listed, I have gotten the C11 error code and had the Camshaft position sensor replaced and all the valves are in spec but the bike won't idle properly after about 20 mins of running from 1200 rpm down to about 900 rpm. Does anyone think this is an ECU issue?
Maybe it can be as simple as adjusting the idle screw (by hand its on the left side of the bike where the throttle body is)
Or maybe bad fuel (I've heard of issues of gixxers not running right because of bad fuel and grimey inereds.
Lastly vacume leak maybe???
Thats all my best guess.
imjus1guy I have checked both those as far as good fuel and the idle screws are both in the correct positions. If it’s not a bad sensor out of the box I’m wondering if ECU could be bad?
imjus1guy Also sprayed brake cleaner all over hoses and didn’t notice a change in idle and I don’t see holes or cuts in the hoses
Hi! When you changed the ECU did you need to change the keys or just the ECU? There's no timlapse in your video right? Thanks!
Only the ECU for Canadian spec . Which our is just a regular key and go.
But if you have a chip in the key then their is a good chance you have to get Suzuki to join the ecu to the key.
You will know if you have a chip key on the dash, It will be a red key light. Mine didn't have that option.
@@imjus1guy do you know if Europe has this bind ECU-key?
I'm not a 100 percent sure. But if I remember correctly. North America has no chip key and I think some places in Europe dose have a chip key.
Maybe make a video and link me in it so I can see. Show all your keys and you're gauge cluster. Then turn the key on and off.
Hey how do you put in dealer mode do you know? I think a 1000 is the same
You need to use a paper clip or metal wire and jump a plug that located under the seat to enter dealer mode.
I sold the bike so I can't help you out sorry,
ruclips.net/video/zykM5uxcOuQ/видео.html
This might help you. If you 1000 is 05-08
What if I’m only getting the c14 and c29 codes but my throttle body’s doing the same thing as ur other video ?
I sold my bike already 2 years ago. But I may have to manual with fault codes. I'll take a look and see if I still have it.
But off the top of my head, if it's only what your stating, it's sound like your trotted body is bad some how or the sensor. Or at worst case, it's the start of your ecu going bad.
My bike has that same sound around the from the throttle body, but the only code ive ever had was FI. Cant get it to start, before and after a major tune up. Getting gas and spark.
That why im watching this vid.
Is there any otther easy way to confirm the ECU? Im leaning so hard toward the ECU. But before i spend that dough. I want to check it.
By the way it started using starting fluid sprayed in the cylinder. When it did shutdown initially i had just hit a bump in the road doing about 40mph, and it just bogged down.
@@313learch8 my 1000 did the same thing it ended up being that the plastic clip that holds the pressure regulator onto the fuel pump fell off inside my tank and the pressure regulator came apart from the pump took me 2 weeks to figure it out after trying 1000 diferrent things
What if my bike won't say anything but check it won't pull up any codes 😊
Well it sounds like you have a physical/mechanical problem somewhere rather then electrical.
I, have same issue with my bike Suzuki skywave 250cc , cracking well, light up the plug ok , every thing well ok but the bike wasn't start, can ecu be replaced, My question is that the ECU it's universe,so that ok one can work for another , thanks 👍
The problem I have, is common for my style of motorcycle. Yours maybe different.
ECU is a kind of easy to replace.
Also no ECU are never universal. You have to buy or find the same bike ECU for your bike.
@@imjus1guy he means if the serial nr its not the same on the ecu,it will work?
@@triglav2819 it has to be from the same bike with the same engine. Other wise there will be ignition problems.
@@imjus1guy i know that mate, i ask about the serial number on ecu,has to be the same?last two numbers?
@@triglav2819 that's I wouldn't be able to know. Plus I never knew ECU had a serial number.
Just try and it and see what happens.
So i dont have spark bike turns but no ignition..........so i need ECU not relays or rectifier??? Gsxr 600 1999
...or stator etc??
This particular issue I had is known for the k6-k8 gixxers as a common problem. Your bike I think maybe has a different issue. Isn't your carberated aswell?
@@imjus1guy carbs yes.......I bought new ignition still to fit...shite Scottish weather....is it as simple as ECU?
Do you have an ecu that i can buy also?? For gsxr 600 07??
No sorry. Sold the bike and everything with it in 2018
Nice man!! I wonder if this is an issue for the 2005 issues!!!
From what I researched, it's not a commen problem as much for my generation. But it is possible for the k4 and k5
Yea I'm thinking that's what is going on because my bike sounds the same way yours did except my fan were coming on!! So I'm going to get a new ecu!! Thanks a ton bro!! Very helpful video keep an coming!
@@mandyice8743 ik this is old but what happened when u got the ecu?
Mandy. I swapped the working ECU and the bike worked just fine for me. For another season or 2 and then I sold the bike.
Any recommendations to where I can get a new/used Ecu? I have the same bike and same problem.
DeeHawk Moran ebay or better yet local craigslist
My bike has a problem c22, Can you help me, please?
www.suzukigsxr.org/dtc_c22_p1450_h_l_ap_sensor_circuit_malfunction-195.html
Try this maybe this will help.
sounds like your STVA is malfunctioning
Did you test to see if you getting spark out of your coils ? Because my throttle body is making the same noise and im not getting any spark out of all four coils
didnt need to test. my codes said, i had no spark, either way it ended up being my ECU
imjus1guy I tested my ecu on someone's bike and it was good so it ended up being my ignition thats why I had no spark
Damn, if a "hoopty" was a bike this would be that bike...did you rebuild it out of a dumpster? Or? Lol
Lmao.. well as a matter of fact, I bought this bike 2nd hand 3000klm on the clock and when I crashed it. It did kinda go into a dumpster and then I decided to rebuild it and I did and rode it like this for a year untill I cleaned it up to black and yellow. So you can say I pulled it out from the trash bin. Haha
@@imjus1guy Damn bro lol nice. I just picked up another 08 gsxr 600, fuckin love the 08-10 bodystyles
My f1 or fI light is on bro not sure what it could be

Check out this video and follow this guy's instructions, you will get your code easily.
Then check online whats wrong with the code you get.
But how did the ECU go bad at such low milage?
I had a HID kit at one point and lowsided and had the HID kit flicker and such (removed it later). In addition to a alarm system.
Later on had the stator, reg rec fry on me. So im thinking all that had to do something with it.
C30?un suzuky gsxr 600cc modelo 2001...please bro
Sorry I'm not sure what your asking me.
C30 = secondary throttle unit, maybe your sensor is bad??
By the way I think I have that e c u that's on your bike, sitting right here on my couch it won't work on a 1000 no but it probably work on yours if you have problems with that one
Hey man do you still have that ECU?? I have an 07 with that same issue
@@recklessboyz6215 no sorry, bikes sold few years ago now. But maybe I still have the fried ECU somewhere in storage???
dirty, no good, filthy, need to exchange for a new used one. not a used used one, a new used with an autograph even. ok, rest of the info was good...you def need a friend to film for you.
Yea I know, but as you can tell with the rest of my page I'm far from you tuber but at least I posted some valuable information to share with the community. My apologies.
@@imjus1guy i was just being silly...you do good posts
So you mean i can teflush the ecu? With the scanner tools. To fix it?
What do you mean by teflush??
@@imjus1guy reflush sorry
Example i have a diagnostic tool.. so to fix this problem i just need to reflush it? Instead of replacing the ecu? I have exact problem like yours this happen when im installing a nes stps when i turn on the bike thats happen
What kind of bike do you have?
Also I think you mean "flash" the ECU. If that is it. Then it may or may not fix your problem.
My issue was the ECU was damaged. If your ecu is damaged, no amount of flashing will fix your problem. You will been a new ecu.
If you had someone allready flash the ecu and they didn't wrong. Then maybe a "refresh" will fix the problem.
@@imjus1guy same as your sir gsxr 600 2007 i just installed a new secondary tps after that i turn on the bike then all of that code showed up
My bike wont crank or fuel prime or exhaust valve nothing is this my ecu
For the same model, there's a hood chance yes. These year ecu for some reason like to shit the bed. Hope that helps.
@@imjus1guy fuc worst part is that of all gsxrs it cost the mostest

What’s C21 means?
Intake temperature sensor mate
