Just utter bullshit, a one-sided narrative, being a student at IITB, I can tell you that many people at IIT irrespective of their branch pursue their interests and crack jobs in many fields like Software/IT, Consultancy, Finance, core, etc. In the rest of the colleges in India, these Finance and Consultancy companies don't even visit including 2nd generation IITs. And talking about your question on dropouts, let me mention here, there is no caste discrimination at IITB. Academics at IITB are very very rigorous if students cannot cope with it, they usually drop out because they are aware that anyway, they cannot get the degree without completing all courses(passing). There are very few people who get into their startup and feel their academics don't matter, then they drop out.

According to some reports is Desh me roj Kam se kam 5 bachhe suicide karte hai, but due to political reasons so called dalit ke masiha netas ( which they are absolutely not) kuch suicides ko caste discrimination ka angle Dene ki kosis ki jaati hai. Plz inform yourself first recent yrs me ek bhi esa pakka proof nahi hai which can claim ki suicide ka reason discrimination hai. So Stop spreading fake news. Or wese bhi reservation leke aane ke baad 4-4 back lagne ke baad agar koi depress hoke suicide kar Raha hai to isme kisi dusre caste ki koi galti nahi hai.
