    I TOTALLY RECOMMEND if you are buying ur first hoist go WIT A 2 TON! 1 tons even have a hard time getting close enough to change engines in cars. And I been using a 1 ton for decades lol. I Def wish I would just bought a 2 ton

    I just bought the 1 ton because I don't work on anything that would weight 2 tons. I think I'll have to return it now for the 2

      The 1 ton has a disadvantage with the lifting height that makes it useless for large vehicles. The extra $ for the 2 ton is worth the investment.
