For those of you that just listened to this, I'd like to congratulate you. You've just listened to the greatest rock and roll band ever. It'll be extremely difficult for any band to top these God gifted guys. After playing the drums for nearly 50 years in two different bands and playing in night clubs around Ocean City MD as well as Washington DC ard opening up for a few well known rock bands in the late 70s throughout the early 90s I met lots of drummers. Out of all those great drummers only a small handful could play and sing at the same time. It can be difficult for most drummers but it's definitely not the case here. Love you guys. Rock on.

I saw Grand Funk Railroad live in concert at Wild Adventures in Lowndes County, Georgia in August 2022. They were high energy through and through, but it was just Don Brewer and Mel Schacter plus three other musicians. Mark Farner wasn’t in the lineup, though. Mel, Don, and Mark need to mend fences, break bread, bury the hatchet, and stage a reunion tour. It would be one for the ages.
So true man! I live in Sydney Austalia and back then they had a cult following here but some had never heard of them , my response was friggin what planet were you sold too!! lol...
They had their own airplane! I saw it at Boeing field in Seattle - It was either a DC-6 or DC 7 - I don't remember for sure. That was a very long time ago!
Got to meet Mark, and know him personally after inviting me, my wife, cousin, and her boyfriend onto his bus after doing a gig at The Barrel on Paradise in Vegas in1989 when we were living there. Needless to say he put on a great show, and is the most down to earth guy you'd ever want to meet and know. Keep rockin' Mark, and May God Bless you and your family my Christian brother!

No better live rock band has graced a stage. No frills, just straight-up in your face, great, organic rock music.
Saw them 4 times in concert
I agree plus Bachman Turner Overdrive
And the Guess Who. GFR = USA !!
ZZTop is on the “top”‘list of American bands, also and I’ve seen both live a few times. But, yes, GFR is electrifying, especially live. 👍🏼👍🏼

Hopefully, they’ll grow up and forget their differences and do a reunion tour before they are sitting in rocking chairs!!!
Damn right the flint trio
