For those of you that just listened to this, I'd like to congratulate you. You've just listened to the greatest rock and roll band ever. It'll be extremely difficult for any band to top these God gifted guys.
After playing the drums for nearly 50 years in two different bands and playing in night clubs around Ocean City MD as well as Washington DC ard opening up for a few well known rock bands in the late 70s throughout the early 90s I met lots of drummers. Out of all those great drummers only a small handful could play and sing at the same time. It can be difficult for most drummers but it's definitely not the case here. Love you guys. Rock on.

I saw Grand Funk Railroad live in concert at Wild Adventures in Lowndes County, Georgia in August 2022. They were high energy through and through, but it was just Don Brewer and Mel Schacter plus three other musicians. Mark Farner wasn’t in the lineup, though. Mel, Don, and Mark need to mend fences, break bread, bury the hatchet, and stage a reunion tour. It would be one for the ages.

In the 70's, I listened to GFR all the time. I remember hearing Mark Farner's hair was so long, it got tangled in the guitar strings of his Fender or Les Paul or whatever he was playing at the time.

Of all the bands that have reunited over the years, this was by far my favorite. I had all but given up in any chance to see Grand Funk & this was news to my ears. I was lucky enough to catch 3 of their shows & they were incredible! Would have been a bargain at twice the price.

The Best Live RocknRoll Band there ever was, seen them in 1973 in NewOrlesns Municipal Auditorium, best concert&show I ever seen. If anyone belongs in the RocknRollHallOfFame its these guys, noone
was better than this group period! They should have been put in years ago! They really rocked&"grooved and all great musicians, so come on RRHOF what's your problem! Without GFRR in there noone should be in there period!
