This song beats the hell out of anything called music being made today, takes me back to grade school. Well done on the video, all those old TV shows take me back there too. Grampa with the smoke coming out of his ears. 🤣
God, I miss what the United States of America. What it represented.
What it stood for.
I´ll never forget her...
And I´m from Guatemala...
we ain't done yet
@@captainbluegill3357 We will be done, if Trump is let near the reigns of power ever again. It will not be pretty...
@@Beamshipcaptainyes it collapse again just like last time smh
Yes, its gone. Destroyed by christian fascists but they wont survive to enjoy the fruits of their evil
This was not a political post. I’m not even a Trump supporter, music was meant to let you feel good. No reason to bring politics into the conversation. Arseholes!
RIP Dawn Wells, you gorgeous little pixie.
RIP Dawn Wells. What a beauty and what a sad loss for the world
I agree. Love Dawn wells.
Love her.
Sorry for your loss
Been in love with Miss Wells since the 1960s. What a Sweetie...
Not forgotten.
I l😍ved the Monkees! Yeahhh!!! Davy and Micky were my favorite Monkees! Rest in Paradise Davy Jones and Peter Tork... Sticks Out 🥁 2020
Hello 👋🏼 😊
Munsters and Monkees and Gilligan Oh MY! Wonderful compilation to a wonderful song!
It was a memorable experience to see them play this live. Yes… I dated myself. Damn they were good. Enjoyed this video!!
Hello how are you doing Mr. Steve 😊
Happy Birthday Mark Farner born on September 29, 1948. He is an American singer, guitarist and songwriter, best known as the lead singer and lead guitarist for Grand Funk Railroad. - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Farner
Great video . Putting all this together couldn't of been easy. Well worth it
I agree

Granny clamplett was getting down with her bad self!!
Can we take a moment to appreciate what a tight little minx Natalie Schafer was.
Yes we can! You did your homework! Lol
They absolutely knew how to get their groove on🎶🎶❤️❤️
Grand Funk Railroad one of the best

Whoever put this together, great job.
Great Band from FLINT MICHIGAN! 😎🌲
This is my personal #1 Rock song of all time and has been since I first heard it in ‘74 ! It’s straight forward, tells it like it is .
We need more Retro TV Music Videos. Beverly Hillbillies and Grand Funk Railroad go AMAZINGLY together. That is all.

When music was all about the music! And the band were talented!!
Great video compliation. I love the smoke coming out of Grandpa Munsters ears!!
Lol
GFR was an amazing band. All the musicians are extremely good and they were a real american rock n' roll band.
Huge shout out to my 3 cool older brothers who had incredible tase in music in the late 60’s and early/ mid 70’s. Of course I carried on that heritage, now my kids love it too!
By far the best video for Great song
Great job 👍👏👍👏👍👍👏💝
I talked to "Sweet Connie" a few times on the phone back in 2008. She was very cool. She died a couple years ago. RIP Connie.
Hello how are you doing Mr. Ricky 😊
Listen carefully, children: T.A.L.E.N.T. without any auto-tune. . .and it's original. . .and it ROCKS
It used to be simply great times which is difficult to describe today!
Love the video. Great old clips to some of the seventies funniest programs. Grand Funk played some great tunes this was one of them.
It just don't get any more AMERICAN then these guys!!! Great band, great tune, great times and a great video. Loved Sam and Serena!!!
This is the winner for best video of classic rock with TV shows I grew up on integrated with the music. What a combination! Superb job!!!
great job
Whoever spliced this together is genius. Thank you
I agree
Absolutely!
I agree
I'm liking my own fucking comment. Fuckin why not
I agree completely!
Saw them in Hyde Park London in about 1970/1. What a day that was!
Really great video, love to hear that good ol' American rock and roll !
How can this great song and video get 1000 thumbs down? Some people don't have or understand life and have no appreciation for the arts.
When music was about having fun and creating great memories. I'm blessed to have experienced it. :)
Me too
I remember being in high school, in my brother's room, playing it on vinyl, playing it as loud as we could get away with, this thing just rocks..miss you bro!
The album says on it, " Play at maximum volume " ! and you are right, it is the greatest hard rock album, the whole album blows you out of the room.
Hello how are you doing Mr. Stephen 😊
Dawn Wells is one of my favorites of all time!
R.I.P. 😢
@@urbangrouse It all ends the same way, go down smiling!!
On 99% of the episodes I like Dawn Wells the best too but on the episode it showed here (When they were the Honey Bees) Ginger's dancing was a lot more sexy.
RIP Mary Ann (Dawn Wells) 1938-2020 💔💔💔
But Ginger could REALLY shake it!
Magnificent Legendary Masterpiece, Elizabeth Montgomery is stunningly beautiful & talented, also Mary Ann & Ginger, great piece of music
yes. definitely.
PANDORA SPOCKS AS SERENA WAS WAY HOTTER AND MORE FUN
so true
Unbelievable! A CRAZY good video! I should feel old, but good rock 'n' roll like this makes me feel young again. Thanks so much for sharing!!!
So nice to see Liz and Boyce and Hart include, thanks!
This is funny as hell! A great song of course, by a great band, but the video is NUTS! Great entertainment.
This song puts me back in time, we are in my friends 1973 Dodge, jacked up, four on the floor, headers, traction bars, big 50s on the rear end, 8 track up high, and high as fuck...cruising E street, San Bernardino, circa 1977...
I had this on a 45 record it was gold see through that was a long time ago. And here I am thinking Lovey Howell ain’t looking so bad.
Ain't that the truth
I'm on a personal mission to wake this up again. I'm just gonna do my part.
If Herman Munster likes this music, it’s gotta be good in my world. Go go Hermie baby, go!
The Married With Children with Anthrax was the best. That was my favorite episode along with the ITS A WONDERFUL LIFE spoof with Sam Kinnison. The Gilligan;s Island was great too.
Bingo Bango Bongo and Irving were the band members name on Gilligan's Island. The dumb shit you remember.
The Universe begins and ends with Mary Ann
I was sold when I saw Jane Hathaway(Nancy Kulp) tearin' it up!
I listened to this when I was still young and immortal.....Good stuff
i guess because it fits my age.great job on this piece.i saw all my old show buddies!thanks man.grampa blowing smoke..priceless.
You get an A+ on the song.. You get a triple AAA+ on the video... Nice job!!
Great job. Love this version
Just found this accidentally and bummed it’s old and no longer making new posts. Super cute. Takes me back. Wonderful memories!
The 60's, 70's and 80's successfully collide. Great work.
so true
Love the group Grand Funk this song I loved too still do !
I watch this at the start of each day to set my head right! Love it!
Great video!
This was so much fun, I fell like I've time traveled.
I went to this concert October of 2018 at the Parx Casino they were terrific I also seen them in 1974 45 years before they were both great both times
That they have been to Al’s home says it all - legends!
Love the cowbell
Classic Songs, Classic band, best clips ever. I'm getting closer to my hoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooome
Give Don Brewer credit for this one. Shame they can't get back together.
My Generation 🐰
This is so damn close to perfection. Only wish the Married With Children clips weren't on it. The other clips are from truly classic TV characters (Herman, Grandpa, Granny, Jethro, Thirsten Howell, etc.), and the MWC clip is the only one where the actors are 'trying' so hard. But other than that one small critique, I love this video!
RetroTVCentral; Great job of matching up old TV snippets to GFR's most classic song! Brings a smile to my face and WE ALL need that @ this time (April 2020.) Best wishes & everybody stay healthy.
Holy Moly. Munsters, Bewitched, Gilligans Island how much fun is this
This was a very enjoyable video. Like almost every cut brought back some memories good ones too
Great edit to a great song. Amazing footage pull!
I love this 70s group and love the song !!!
American rock meets the Beverly Hillbillies, the Muppets, the Monkeys, Bewitched's Elizabeth Montgomery (babe), Gilligan's Island and the Munsters! It don't get better than this.
Have I missed anybody?
How sad that this tune would not go over well in so many countries in this world, compared to when this song first came out.
I love it yall did this one just right❤🎉
This might just be one of the greatest videos of all time on RUclips.
Nicely done, Sir. I salute you.
so true
Amen man!!!
I agree
I THINK IT IS THE BEST VIDEO EVER❤❤❤❤❤GOT MY VOTE😊
The YT algorithm has failed until now! That's the funniest shtuff I've seen in quite some time........the timing of the clips with the beat of a great tune is awesomeness. Thanks RTVC.
Just wouldn't be right to have an American Band video without Herman Munster.
Yeah, and he could crush a baseball too, lol!
Or the Muppets
man, that Tina Louise was sure feeling it - that was nice to watch.
Damn watching this video brought back great memories. 1960's greatest decade ever.
SONG WAS 70s Though ,,, lol
THEY WERE SOME OF THE BEST ROCKERS AROUND! THIS IS HOW WE JAMMED. LOVE TO DO IT AGAIN!
Great song, great video, great stars, great memories.
Why can’t we give SUPER-LIKES to videos like this! Fantastic!
A good little video showing what makes the United States the greatest country of all-time.
The early 70's rocked!!!!! I miss those times so much.
Grand Funk Railroad's first #1 single on September 29, 1973, Mark Farner's 25th birthday. Written by Don Brewer
Great work on this vid....All our Favorite shows from the 60s and early 70s and a Great GFR song, our little band KRL played every Jam session back in Huntington Long Island NY. Nicely done video, very creative!
Back in the 70's I was playing this on my dad's reel reel giant stereo so loud the windows where moving back and forth and the cop drove by real slow. Yaeh my ears ring.
Awesome presentation of classic "Rock & Roll Bands" & TV shows of the time period
First time I’ve seen Ellie Mae with straight hair. Actually I saw Donna Douglas in a walmart back in the late 80s. She was beautiful!
Just another Friday night in Swartz Creek,,,,,lots of folks from Parshallville, too!
WHO EVER DID THIS,,
T H A N K Y O U!!!!!!!
I haven't Laughed like this for a long time!!! How Clever!!! PLEASE DO MORE!!! GENIUS!!!

Ps..
Married with children, lol!!! I was wondering if the Standels on the Munsters would be there!!! Your a Genius You Saved the Best for last! Grandpa Blowin Smoke outta his ears!!!.🤣🤣🤣lol!!!
I JUST LOVED THE RND WITH THE MUNSTERS ESPICALLY HERMAN THAT JUST TOPPED IT OFF PERFECTLY......LOVED IT...ONE OF THE BEST BANDS EVER LOVE THEM....LOVE❤❤❤GRAND FUNK❤❤❤😊😊
I was five yrs old in 1967 and feel like this video has re-awakened my earliest childhood memories.
THANK YOU.
Before I even finish the video. I was at work early this morning and Grand funk Railroad popped into my head as I was doing my menial tasks. Got me thru the day. Thanks for posting. Oh those chiquitas in Omaha.
This may be the best RUclips music video I've ever seen. Also, I think it settles the debate once and for all, Maryanne was way hotter than Ginger.
Mary Ann was 🔥 when dancing on the island
Miss Hathaway could really dance
This is the best video ever!
It has something for everyone
Makes you dance
Literally, my favorite song for such a long time.
Hey 👋🏼 😊
