My pastor is doing this now! I have not been able to go! I live in California and this church is very racially integrated, and I do know that I have heard he did the same thing before the last election, and many left. I may have to leave, which is heartbreaking because I have many good friends that attend, and completely supported me 9 years ago after my husband passed away.

Thanks for your honesty about your journey. You are not alone is a powerful message all by itself.

I was a never trumper. I felt so guilty and had so much fear about going to hell. I knew my Christian friends would treatment as a non believer. It has been a really hard time to reconstruct. I am not sure what I believe anymore. I had profound spiritual experience before becoming a Christian. I know I need to start there. I still don't myself holding to old prejudices about God that I still feel I am going to he'll over

I am a diagnosed paranoid schizophrenic with delusional affectations. I understand how falsehood can seem to be true. I also have been homeless and have lived in a home for the mentally ill and the developmentally disabled. So I have a different perspective on politics. When I learn that a politician is a Republican immediately I cannot bring myself to vote for them. I am also a strong Christian, an ordained Elder in the COGIC.

How do you take "Christian" principles and divorce them from the character of the messenger? Seems pretty cynical to me.

Some of the founding fathers were Deists, not Christian. There is no such thing as “Judeo-Christian. They mean Christian.

It's great to hear these de-conversion stories with people coming to the realization of how hypocritical religion can be. It's sad how delusional people can get with god belief.

God did send help. God sent the doctor who performed your hysterectomy.
