SLIGHT misspeak regarding 100 in the rough…Tour players will average more bogies than birdies resulting in an over par average score. NOT more bogies than pars. Great stuff otherwise! Hope y’all like it
Appreciate you Scott!
Hi Scott,
assuming the dispersion of driver and mini driver is similar, do you carry the mini driver only for when driver could get you in trouble off the tee and you dont want to go to a wood?
love the video, thanks!
This is one of the best videos yet. That final stat about over 95 yds most tour players are more likely to be over par was 🤯 Brilliant work both 👍
Thank you Ross!
Brilliant video! Thanks for having Scott on and just letting him do his thing. DECADE is one of the best golf investments I've ever made.
Great to hear and thanks!
Love Scott’s insight as always. I’ve watched countless videos of him now, but this was the first time I have heard what he said about Keith Mitchell. Even into the wind he just hit his exact same ball flight AND trajectory. That is incredibly insightful and makes so much sense. I have stopped trying to manipulate curvature different ways with driver but after seeing this I’ll surely pay more attention to not messing with trajectory too much either. Thank you
Wow, awesome video guys. Scott really brought not just his A game to the course but the course strategy information is pure gold. Thanks for making such an insightful video as even a weekend hacker like me has learned a few new things to bring my scores down.
Appreciate you Paul!
That was eye opening on a major level
We agree!
This is the content I’ve been hunting. Thank you for the video, and Decade Golf. . . here I come. Currently 9.8 after 3yr playing, looking to see how far into + I can go
How is it going?
@@mre_man getting down to 6.1 after 4mo. Ball sticking has been improving, this fall we’ll have more time to dedicate to the game, so we’ll see how it goes then
To use the phrase from The Mandalorian I've said before regarding Decade, "This is the way".
Good video guys 💪👍
Tack Javier!
Absolutely great video. One-third of the way through and I've learned a lot.
Good job with the video. I learned some interesting facts. Enjoying your channel.
Appreciate you!
Love DECADE. Took me from a 2 to a +1 handicap pretty quickly
That's awesome!
NICE!!!
Southern Dunes?? Probably best bang for the buck down here. Front 9 pretty level.
Back 9 has the most beautiful elevation changes...so close to everything.
Greens practically flawless most of the year.
We were SO impressed and fell in love with the course!
I thought it was AMAZING for like $80 if I remember. Great deal
Wow! What an eye opener! Great video guys!
Awesome information with a lot of eye opening information!
“Nobody on the planet is good enough to work driver both ways “ is real grown up talk I not ready to hear.
Scott isn’t playing around 🥹
Crazy good. And the golf was pretty good too! Thank you.
Thank you!
Great video! Loads of great info.
Thank you Brandon!
Quality info presented for sure.
Solid shot making. Hope you guys can play with the good good team and have a 9 hole playoff
Phenomenal video
Fredrik great video. I almost feel I should be paying for all the valuable advise. Thx for sharing!
Appreciate you Don!
Awesome video! Gonna have to get Decade…
At about 11:45 in, Scott mentions a Lag putting drill, and that he will show how to set it up later in the video, if I understood correctly, but it’s not in there.
Hi Anders! We will edit and post that drill as a short here soon!
Tack!
Any news on this lag putting drill video?
Is there any news on this lag drill?

Great video guys
Thank you James!
so much good information here. I truly believe thinking correctly on the course will improve the vast majority of golfers scores even when compared to swing lessons.
We agree!
@@FredrikandHannah having realistic expectations is so helpful especially when it comes to approach shots and putting. Amateurs tend to put pressure on themselves that are unrealistic instead of taking away some pressure.
Is it just me or if you close your Eyes Scott sounds like and talks like DeChambeau?
Excellent call.
Scott going all quantum physics on golf.
Cashmere Keith is going to be a stud. Can’t wait to see what he accomplishes with Decade.
you got a great swing man
11:45 What happened to the Speed Putting drills? 😢
Thank you at minute 4:30. That’s what I’m here for
I can’t stop hearing Ricky Ricardo 😂
Grymt bra innehåll 😃
I play a fade, but I can hook a ball around certain doglegs on occasion. Has to be worth the try. Usually trees blocking my fade or long hole and need to hook driver.
Put a three wood a little back in your stance and hook it that way like Zalatoris, DJ, Brooks, and all the other faders do on 10 & 13 at Augusta. It's much easier to do.
Very funny that Mr. “ArChiTeCtS iNtEnT” brings the architect along for the ride 😜 😜 😜 😜
HA! It's not that I don't care what their intent is, it's really more that I just don't care what their intent was. AMIRITE? ;)
@@scottfawcett3290 that’s a distinction only a lawyer could understand. 🤪🤪
Even with beginners they expect to hit some distance with a particular club. The problem however lies in the consistency in distance and not knowing the true carry, cause the inconsistent strike pattern. Which still haunt players down to say 15-10-cappers and even in single digits, where people start to understand the difference in lie and course conditions. And how they’ll effect the ball flight and what is possible.
That said, often heard metaphora is to play your per centages not knowing what that actually means. And a general explanation would be, not trying to hit the shots, you pull out 3/10, but anything above 60% would do. That makes common sense ofcourse, but such structured and particular method for dealing the troubles on the course taking basically all hazards out of play should be taught allready when people break 100 or 90 for the first time.
Sincere understanding of your capabilities is the initial key matter in avoiding the big numbers on your scorecard. And I don’t mean like deminishing and talking down on yourself, but properly assessing what you can do and what would be the 1/1000 shot at everyone’s level.
PGA dispersion average at 200 yards is 45 yards wide? Are we sure that’s accurate?
Thanks for this…and both your appearances in my Sportsbox training videos
Thank you Frederic! Hope you find the Sportbox app helpful!
Not sure I buy the 30 yard bunker shot being better than 100 yard from fairway. For pros and insanely good players sure but I’m a scratch golfer with a mediocre bunker game. Avid Arccos user and here are my stats over the past 50 rounds so a good sample size:
About 27ft proximity from 75-100 yards and 87% GIR.
For bunker shots 0-25 the proximity is 20 ft. Most of these bunker shots are green side and not 30 yards. I don’t have the data on 30 yard bunker shots but I imagine it gets worse FAST outside of 10-20 yards.
Anecdotally I would much prefer the wedge shot from fairway. More predictable lies, more predictable spins, a shot I hit way more and takes the odd fried egg, buried lies out of play.
Point being if this is my data as a scratch golfer, it’s hard to imagine a weekend golfer who plays once a month is going to have the skill out of a bunker for this to be true
Is it just me or is course management pretty much the same as playing pool/billiards
Pros average above par out of the rough from 100 yards kinda blows my mind. They need to get off the range and practice in the rough.😂
You misspelled Scott's last name in the title. Might want to fix that 😉
It's misspelled in the video graphic as well 😬
@@mattmiller07 I haven’t watched it yet to see if it’s misspelled in a graphic, and maybe they changed it in the title because that is correct. Fawcett
@@scottfawcett3290 yeah, they must have changed it. It was Fawsett. All good. Just wanted you to get credit and make it more searchable
@@mattmiller07 those damn Euros! The need to recognise we don’t use “s” so often! 😉
This is 100% the European's fault haha! We edited the caption!
Dayammmmm I didn’t realize you were jacked…
You look like you could deliver the 8 piece box, a couple of side and the sweet tea to boot…or at least lay a solid form tackle on some foolz
LOL! Since I say the same thing over and over on podcasts, I obviously say "I'm 6'1" and 220" far too often in hindsight. My favorite has always been when haters say "yeah, that size and a doughboy". OK, let me know when you want to do a tackling drill! I was too big for golf in the 90's, but still too small for contact sports (since I hate pain!)!
At the end of the day just go practice your pitching and putting.
Just wear a Garmin S70 and your decisions will be quick.
How's your cat? ⛳
Literally all of this is common sense information. Everyone acts like DECADE is the newest latest and greatest when it’s really just simple logic.
Ok I thought I was trippin
Yeah but sometimes people a different way to think / understand / process information. That’s why it’s better packaged.
I believe this is the drill Scott mentioned but they didn't show

Since when was Keith Mitchell the best driver of a golf ball on the planet 😂😂
Keith Mitchell is leading the PGA Tour’s Total Driving (accuracy+distance) stat and has been leading or close to leading it for a longer period of time. That is the definition of the best driver on the planet pretty much.
@@FredrikLindblomSGG I’ve always taken it off SG, where no doubt he’s up there but wouldn’t have him ahead of likes Rory or Rahm
Since math has proven it, repeatedly.
@@scottfawcett3290 Going off SG it’s mathematically not true 🤷♂️ (don’t get me wrong he’s up there)
@@gazr99 Taken over five years, yes it is.
