Look's amazing. I used ! cup of melted butter except water. Gives it a more richer flavor!

Try adding a cup of hot brewed coffee instead. See what u think. Coffee enhances the chocolate flavor. It won’t taste like coffee at all.

the DF cake mix says moist in it. does it mean it has pudding mixed in it as well? and is it ok to put pudding mix for those cake mix that says moist or super moist already? thanks!

Is there anyway I can make this in round cake pans

I’ve never tried it but it should work. Will probably make 2 round pans. I’d sprinkle the chocolate chips on the top of the batter instead of mixing in. Let me know how it turns out!

try using cocoanut oil instead .... makes it even better, and no water. Use whole milk instead

your recipe says used 2/3 bag choc chips. you said in the video to use 1/2 bag.... which is it? guess it won't matter much...

My apologies for the confusion! If you like more ganache drizzled on top divide it half and half. If you like less ganache then reserve 1/3 bag for the ganache and put the remainder of the bag in the cake batter. Can’t go wrong either way! Thanks for watching!

I am confused, what wet ingredients did you put in first?

Add the water in the bottom of the mixer bowl, then cake mix, oil, pudding and eggs. Thank you for watching!

Swap out the oil for butter and use milk instead of water if you really want it to have a rich homemade flavor. Plus vegetable oils are terribly inflammatory for the body, they should never be consumed.

Thank you for the substitution suggestions and thank you for watching! I look forward to trying those substitutions next time I bake this cake.

Should the butter be softened or melted 👀

Always replace the water with milk or cream. A dollop of sour cream in the batter is even better.
