Thanks for sharing your setup with us. I’m considering that same setup, already have one 180. Unlike your setup, I’m going to need to cover the truck’s tailgate in the back, in between the two awnings. I thought I’d share what I’ve learned, in case anyone is interested. Those channels in the rail… they’re called “Keder Rails”. A quick search will result in lots of solutions to DIY a way to fabricate a panel of cloth between the two awnings. Cheers
Is it possible to mount the mounting brackets so that the vertical portion of the mount points downwards? Basically so that the awning can be mounted so that it sits lower relative to the mounting point. Thanks!
Yes, the brackets are designed to do just that. I wouldn't do that on an Element tho, especially without a bit of lift otherwise you'll be hitting your head.

The Batmobile! Awesome!
I kept hearing a bird 🦅 go absolutely nuts 😂
Good idea... more actual coverage for i believe less price? Top view reminded me of THE BATWING 😂😂
Would loove to know more about the spare tire mount, and the Faring to block the wind from your solar panel? Very nice build!

nice review, thanks for showing your setup.. does one product, the 180 awning, fit both sides? or driver and passenger are different versions?
180 fits either side. The 270 has the wrap around that covers the trunk. The 270 matters on driver or passenger side. I love mine the 180.
Brand and links to purchase?
Brand is in the title of the video and the first couple sentences of the video. Link added in my Amazon lists, but I'd shop around for the best price.
......as he hides the loose plastic cap....
