My best friend before she died watched your film. Your film had such an impact on her that she had included the soundtrack in a CD playlist she titled Hello, World. Her dad even watched it after she passed. He thought it was about discovering your true identity. That when you're little, you can't see your true self. It's only as time passes, that your true self is revealed to you.
Beautiful designed characters... And the animation was wonderfully done.. What a talent!
That's a very good point sir. I think rather than spend hours dwelling on this and trying to interpret it, I'll just enjoy it for its visual beauty. Its images were captivating and that is enough on its own.

i need a love button. like doesnt cover it right now. bears are just awesome in general but when placed in an animation, that has such a deep meaning that ive watched it 5 times and have come to a mutitude of conclusions as to what its about, (not sure what one lol) it just makes my day. major props to the creator.
it makes to me feel like home, simply great.

I love the music, and the animation is cool too. I used this video for my Music assignment. I basically had to create my own version of the background music (obviously it wasn't as good as this, but im glad it wasn't complete trash)

My personal interpetration was that a Bear shaving it's hair, the clippings form other organisms are a metaphor for Evolution and Human history thus far. We left nature behind, then spent thousands of years trying to recreate a Golden Age of man when he was pure and with nature, then we saw nature dying while no one helped. End?

I don't know where i just stepped into, But I'm intrigued.
What I understand is that polar bear would have to move from they home because the poles are melting, that I think is what represent the ice he is floating on, but e probably would have trouble because he would be competing with other bears for survival.

I was reminded of this after watching the forest episodes in Naruto.
I may be interpreting this wrong, but for the most part it's art. It is there to be interpreted, you must come to your own conclusions. It contains subtle references to various messages (i.e. climate change) but nothing is directly mentioned.
I learned that ninjas like butterfly's and butterfly's come from black bears who command them to find polerbears and transform them into blacks bear in order to keep the ninjas from finding out that the true form of humans are triangles and squares.

It's funny because to me, the first time I seen journey, I thought "Wow, this reminds me of 'Between Bears'."

But despite the time put into following the people will reach the end of their journey, to meet the one who's idea started it all and they will find nothing special. They will find that that person is floating along just as they were before they had something to follow. Religion.

To be honest, I don't get it.
Um...... Cool? I mean, I liked it, and it was really, REALLY nice animation, but my symbolism senses are failing me here, I have to find some way to interpret this.... Is it about how humanity should try and follow nature closely, or about nature's influence on humanity, and how we can probably never understand it? I'm going to assume the 3rd option for now until I can come up with something better...... Art is so fascinatingly strange.

I think the art here is that it suggests absolutely nothing. It's rather like atonal music, which is incredibly hard to write because music tries very hard to be tonal at all cost.
For me this somewhat represents racism. The way black are not really different from white. Look closer. the opening somewhat represents that underneath both are the same. But this is what i felt.
