Lately I've been using Wonder tape to hold my binding down before machine sewing it, but I also like the glue method. Haven't tried Elmer's but I tried glue sticks before and that was a hot mess. Wondering if a mini glue gun might get a similar result as the Elmer's?

I’ve never had any trouble.

As long as it dries (and it will when you iron it) it will not gum the needle!
