You can move the lens flare by clicking its 'Color Fill' thumbnail and moving it in the main window (saves faffing about with that little pop-up window). You can also use its 'Layer Opacity' to fine tune its brightness.

Good one! Thank you! Can this work on objects other than texts? Bevel effect is ok as far as the object is flat and extruded facing the camera, I would pretty much love to learn how it is done on the objects like Iron Man Suit.
Yeah it can. But when doing objects, it is harder because of different depth.

Can you timestamp the exact time that your photo starts to look blue. You can always a Hue/Saturation adjustment layer on top, then lower the Saturation.

Yeah it is possible making it with an action.

Are you talking about the "Gradient Editor"? Click on the first gradient color option. Then you can make the gradient same as mine.

Yes, the color you start with doesn't matter and can be changed.

Make sure the new tab settings is set to SRGB and not CMYK

You can use text or objects.
Does this work with other colours? not just silver?
Yeah, You can add a Hue/Saturation layer on top. Then select Colorize, then change the colors from there.

Waa unable to add flare as it needs to be restorised. How can I fix this?
Here is another way of doing it. Add a New layer on top. Then fill that layer all black with paint bucket tool. Then add the lens flare. Then change blending mode to Screen.

You can see me adjusting the bottom tabs. Make sure you adjust the top tabs also. Click on the top left tab and set it to 100% Opacity. Top right tab should be 100% Opacity also.
I followed the steps, but the effect is only applied to stroke of the letters and the stroke of the borders. How can I fix this? The problem starts around the steps at 1:20

Which part of the video did it start to look different from yours?
@@photoshoptutorialsbylayerl1447 when I render 3d, the background wont change like the video. The video has subtle gray tone 3d look finish, but mine is just white. While I changed the 3d preference settings as well. No matter what I do the background remain white. On the next part background wont change with the color balance as well.

I tried with a third logo.....I have followed intently for about 3 hours, every step....I'm not getting anywhere near....
Hi Greg. What does your logo look like? Is it text or just one object? Note that if your photo size is larger than in the video, then some of the settings may need to change.
Nope..I used another ogo and that didn't work eithher.....i get as far as bevel amd emboss and it just stays flat...you are missing something out.....you said it can be done on an existing logo....I have tried 2....desn't work...

What is the issue? In the curves panel, make sure it is set to "endpoints", left side of that curves panel window.
Maybe the archive is in 32 bits and fail, try with 16 bits, y look this detail and I repair that.

Chris you will see it when you click the color box in the left panel menu. The color picker will pop up and you will be able to enter it in that window. I hope that helps.
For some reason mine becomes bronze.
