I was surprised how many different Oni there were, and the subtle differences between them. The other statues, including the Komainu, were also quite varied in appearance, which was interesting to observe! 😊 Thanks for watching❤

Greetings from Okinawa Japan! The big statues look like the Shisa, which you see all over Okinawa. We have 2 in our house.
Yes, they are similar! I believe they have the same origin (Chinese "lions") 😊
