I've always been a bit of classical music head but after watching the anime, I can't stop hearing the sound of the shamisen in my head. It's filled up so much of the space that it's the only thing I can hear.
Wow, a lot of people out of nowhere started liking the Shamisen after Mashiro no Oto, but I've honestly never seen it Edit: Started watching Mashiro no Oto, such a beautiful anime
So beautiful and so incredibly moving! I can feel the notes as they are being played as if a clashing wave is coming towards me followed a rush of wind going towards my heart and echos to my ears.
Yes, Mashiro no Oto has given me first time to hear Shamisen, but let's agree that this song is very nice. Melody is provocate to do something, like fight or challenge you.
I searched for Videos so to see a „real“ person play the shamisen. RUclips reckomends at least one shamisen vidoe per day while O wait for another eoisode of snow white Notes😊
Came here from "Mashiro no Oto" aka. "Those Snow White Notes" and I must admit that I love this kind of music even tho I've never heard of the instrument Shamisen before the Anime. Love to see how Anime cultivates people ^^ Have a nice day :D
Ok guys guys guys since y'all absolutely love the shamisen, go watch kubo and the two strings, the shamisen is used as a magical weapon in certain parts, but can manipulate paper and leaves and other wooden-made stuff, anyways love this now *go watch it*
I love my Tsugaru shamisen with Ripple, I live in a humid sub-tropical area, my skin shamisen is always under wraps, but I can have my Ripple shamisen on the stand ready to just pick up & play whenever I get the urge. Arigatou gozaimasu
So beautiful and distinguished!!!!! It's always so interesting to see and hear, how similar the traditional aspects of different cultures are. When I listen to this great ancient instrument, I hear traditional blues guitar strumming and I hear traditional Appalachian guitar picking. Amazing. Music like Math is a universal language
Remarkable, really. One minute it reminded me of blue grass banjo, the next it was the stomp of flamenco twinged with the improvisatory flair of the sitar. Mostly, of course, what it reminded me was that, for all the surface calm of many aspects of Japanese life, sadness and immediacy. are also there in abundance.
Well, Mashiro no Oto brought me here as well as my love for music. I loved how they used the Shamisen in modern music and still Killing it, Best eargasm I've ever had.
bruh they really do be keeping track of my life with this popping up on my recommended

Those are him tuning the shamishen, also letting people around know he's performing
On everf performance you'll notice performer play those notes
Yes, but this performance lacked personality and just seemed like he was just reading the notes.

Shamisen is such a beautiful instrument. It sounds similar to a banjo in a way, but is played very differently. I love it.

was recommended. This is really nice to hear
RUclips: Wanna see a Japanese banjo?
Me: Uhm, k?
Not everyone is here because of Mashiro no Oto. I'm here because RUclips recommended this because I watch some "Yoshida Brothers" shamisen videos.
I got recommend this after listening to a orchestral version of the Howls moving castle sound track.
This is good though
Same!
RUclips sent me here after I looked for the Wano intro
Yeah both for some of us. Watched Yoshida brothers a while ago and Mashiro no Oto currently.

I love it! This sounds as the "blues side" of traditional Japanese music.

Those Snow White notes brought me here
Why do I feel such past life connection with Japanese traditional instruments? 😭🤍❤
I got acquainted with this musical instrument when I watched the anime Live Sound. And immediately fell in love with this musical instrument.
Just one of the many reasons I absolutely love Japan!👍⛩️🗾
It makes me feel like I am on a past era, moonlight ,Japanese party with lots of people who dance on its sound with passion and joy 🥰✨

I see that a lot of people are here because of Mashiro no Oto. Can't blame them tho :D This guy is good!
The sound of Shamisen is always ASMR to my ears.
Even as a guitar player this looks amazing, like they have have of the strings yet have the same amount of ability to sound amazing
Background gives perfect boost to enjoy
just finished episode 11 and was searching for matsugoro sound
Yes, Mashiro no Oto has given me first time to hear Shamisen, but let's agree that this song is very nice.

The fact that he is playing it with his eyes Closed is what makes it even more amazing.
Originally it was played by blind bards during the Edo period who travelled and by playing shamisen made a living.
I always felt like a piece of me was missing until I watched mashiro no oto and learned bout the shamisen , now it’s my favorite instrument
I just love the way the shamisen sounds
Just like Souran Bushi, anime brought me to see japanese culture even more

EVERYBODY AFTER WATCHING MASHIRO NO OTO.... THIS IS THE POWER OF THE ANIME WORLD
YES IT IIIISSSSSSS
Next time I visit some dudes with a banjo, I'm definitely bringing a paint scraper with me
Make it plastic and taper it from 2mm to .58 or 70mm and you just may be on to something
Probably something I want to hear after waking up in the morning, to get back to my senses.
Just like in the anime Mashiro no Oto this looks awesome and give me chills everytime i listen.

After studying many different cultures I’ve come to a conclusion that traditional Japanese culture is the most beautiful
Now that’s how you play a Shamisen! Sounds just like a Banjo from the backwoods, but in the best way.
So beautiful and distinguished!!!!! It's always so interesting to see and hear, how similar the traditional aspects of different cultures are. When I listen to this great ancient instrument, I hear traditional blues guitar strumming and I hear traditional Appalachian guitar picking. Amazing.

How wonderful is that! Beautiful sound, beautiful music. Not easy to play, that's for certain. Thank you Shamisen
so calming

I love the sounds, the way the momentum is on a trad. japanese Shamisen.
Love the performance, dress & setting. Delightful.
