most immersive experience I have ever encountered. There is absolutely no way to replicate this type of training outside what you guys are doing. The scenarios felt so real, your adrenaline is pumping, kids are screaming, shots fired. So much going on. With the instructor guidance we were able to slow down when needed and save lives. Keep it up gents.

Love seeing this type of training. Been a cop for 14yrs and wished I had joined the military for bonds with guys like this but this training is phenomenal and it's the safety and protection of our future generations.

Thank you guys for offering this, and putting in the WORK. You can see these students’ heads absorbing it all, thinking through, and making adjustments. Thank you for keeping this perishable skill from perishing!

Right after the Sandy Hook shooting our local PD did this training and I was an explorer. We all showed up to be actors, it was just like this but we had more sound stimulus using the PA system blasting an alarm and we fired blanks for accuracy on noise. Everytime I look at the challenge coin I earned that day, I remember the one thing our explorer post leader told us "I have 4 kids at home, it terrifies me that I have to run in there first but if not me? who?" Stay safe out there ladies and gents.

What a clown show 🤡 dressed like children pretending to be in the military.
Easy to fantasize when there's no real threat.
Today's threats are so variable, some extremely dangerous.
That so called plate carrier has significant areas of exposure.
    🤣🤣🤣🤣🤡🤡🤡🤣

Everyone wants to look like an "Operator'.
Note all the trainees look alike; beards, caps, tactical gear...it's like a tactical cult.
The trouble with this kind of training is that you become the Hammer...and everyone else starts to look like the Nail.
I would like to see as much time spent on no threat citizen vs bad guy threat recognition in training scenarios.
I would like to see actors playing mentally disturbed or confused individuals...and go from no threat to small threat to high threat.
The problem with door kicking, especially on a domestic disturbance or NO Knock Warrant...is that you EXPECT to find bad guys inside and the slightest movement can set off your threat response actions...which is why so many innocent citizens (and often their dogs) in the US get shot "by accident."

Well said. My husband is a law enforcement agent. He works with local agencies frequently. The stories are the same most of the time. Slobs , unfit not knowing what they are doing and try to look tough. Unfortunately law enforcement has failed to keep a moral standard and continues to hire physically and mentally unfit people. Unfortunately I can't say more as this is a public forum and you seem to understand the real issues.
All this room clearing is a joke it's not done like that by real professionals. LAPD has its issues, however it's SWAT team is outstanding. Unfortunately most departments can afford a full time SWAT team and refuse to discipline the unfit and immoral clown's that sneak into the SWAT team.
Some of these clowns are using steroids as well. Mandatory drug screening is need in all law enforcement positions.
You can find these types at your McDonald's then a bar telling stories trying to out do the others.
These guys wouldn't last long in a real situation. They have been watching RUclips videos or playing video games.
Wearing a baseball cap unkempt with tattoos... What a mess......
Thanks for sharing your comment. Happy Thanksgiving 😃🙏

I guess in a more general sense, those criticisms hold some water, but I think you're wrong here. If, by "pretending to be in the military," you're referring to the camo, you may want to remember that those are all Border Patrol guys. And that is their actual issued uniform. Non of the other guys are wearing camo. Seems to me they are all wearing things that they will likely be wearing should something actually happen. The gun belts are pretty standard for most law enforcement agencies. As far as them wearing plate carriers, that's harder to say. Some departments do wear outer vests with plates, some guys will keep them in the back of their patrol cars and throw them on when needed.
Speaking of plate carriers, regarding them having "significant areas of exposure," yeah.... all of them do. Not sure what plate carriers you're used to seeing. Armor is always a balance between protection and mobility. Sure, you could wear a bomb proof suit, but you wouldn't be very effective. Plate carriers are supposed to protect your most vital areas (i.e. organs), while remaining as light and unobtrusive as possible.
Finally, "today's threats are so variable, some extremely dangerous." .......Yes? Not sure what point you're trying to make.
I understand the criticism behind trying to look like something you aren't or in this case, cops trying to look like SOF, however, I would just point out that there has been and will always be a lot of similarities in the gear both tactical law enforcement teams and SOF uses, because the gear works. So why wouldn't you use it? Remember, right when the war on terror was kicking off, a lot of SOF teams started wearing gear that US SWAT teams were wearing. Why? Because at that time, it was the SWAT teams with all the real world experience. Now, because of GWOT, that's reversed.
