It’s a channel that I would continue to watch, and while I like where you have taken your channel with higher production value, I still think those old videos are great

I watched all the Disney Park theories a few years ago, and suddenly this popped up in my Recommended after I watched a few Disney videos today. It feels like returning to a place I used to call home.
One of my favorite things about your theory vids like this is that you straight up acknowledge how some concrete “connections” between both attractions are mostly just coincidental or used for a different reason than your head cannon. But I think that’s what makes head cannon theorizing so much fun and why I’ll be passing it along to friends/family next time I’m at the parks
I actually looked this up for anyone who was curious: The sugar act was a legislation brought in to try and end sugar smuggling and increase britain's revinue, it was a upgraded version of the Molasses act of the previous year I'm assuming the key difference being the molasses act covered only molasses and the sugar act any kind of refined sugar. It basically upped the duties and mde enforcment of the payment much harder on you if you where importing sugar into the colonies from non british-Carribian sourses. Somehow I don't think a Pirate would put the date of an act meant to make his job harder on anything related to him.

I believe that leffitte's treasure ended up in the haunted mansion because he was pretty close to those places,hiding his goods somewhere there etc.And the recycling of the props used here & there was a way to pinpoint us that there is somewhat a connection,not entirely directly but here & there to produce some kind of a story or lore! After that we became the story tellers of the whole thing creating much better stories than the disney executives which they mostly cares about the money and nothing more,but also cool videos like this one to share with us! Thanks for sharing it was an awesome experience for a fan like me in the haunted mansion lore! 😉

In the Galveston section they told the story of Jean Lafitte and how he haunts a place in Galveston, and his story is the Pirates ride basis. I had no idea he was a real person.
