Unless you are traveling the world, becoming an American citizen is a liability not an asset. If you ever move to the Philippines, the US gov will have full access to her bank accounts in the Philippines. If she had just maintained her green card, the US gov would have no access to her bank accounts in the Philippines. You have now given her every incentive to stay in the USA. The longer she stays and prospers the more she will learn she has choices. I hope she continues to choose you.
I met my Filipina when I lived in Hawaii but met her in Manila. My friends in Hawaii all had houses and were married to Filipinas, but their mortgages were outrageous. 2 lost their houses in the lockdowns. After I brought her to Hawaii she met all those girls and decided she wanted to own a house. I explained to her that buying a house is not the same as owning it. There is debt to worry about. we moved to Oregon and she got a job at the hospital which I both encouraged and arranged by my contacts there. By year 10 she decided that she was independent and no longer wanted me. I am 6-0 168 lbs blonde hair blue eyes an easy 7 and I was really good to her but she just wanted more than I could give her at the time. She divorced me last year. Crazy thing is I own a piece of property in Oregon that is now worth 2 million. I was developing it for 3 years and she thought it was worthless because until the development was complete, it was not saleable. It is complete now. Just 1 year after the divorce. I have heard so many stories of Filipinas like this but to be honest all of my friends except one in Hawaii are still married to the same Filipina. 3/4 is better than the US divorce rate.
My preaching is never bring a Filipina to the US. It is a corrupting culture. I hope your Pinay stays with you until the end. That is God's heart but it definitely was not in the heart of my Filipina

So they took my funds and put it in a voucher....just found out that had to use it back in April this year! Figured it would be til Aug 18th. For am trying to go around Dec 27th til Jan 27th to meet my girlfriend's family and her. ...with possibility of marrying her there. The first few yrs I thought that I was the rescuer till it became clear to me that they were coming to me to rescue and rehab me to be a real human again ! I too did some extra work on 2 movies ... Shadow of the hawk and slaughter house . and was the lead in a biker gang spoof commercial against drinking and driving ! And as I shared with you , the film that was made here in 2010 about myself and this place by exploration films based in Monument Colorado . THE GENTLEBEARMANOFEMO ! Still working on getting my now 4yr fiancee over here . As you know , it has become SO difficult with all those stupid restrictions that keep changing ! We are also losing our once free country ! God bless, keep safe !

@@FinstaDaMinsta Hi Johnny. I totally agree homes built in the USA over the last two decades are ridiculous, 2500 to 4500 sq. ft monstrosities. I'll bet Every Man's place is around 800 sq. ft to 1000, which isn't huge. I live in a 600 sq./ft 1 bedroom place here in America and I'm ok with that, although I'd like another room to have my exercise equipment, music recording equipment and such. The point I'm making is, these little 200 to 400 sq. ft condos and homes in the Phils. and Thailand, IMO, are just too cramped/small, especially if one has children. Just my opinion.

I hope Michael can find a way to eventually live partly in the Philippines and the USA. Perhaps he could own a property and rent it out as an AirBNB when he is not there, hiring someone or using a property management company to take care of it while he is away.

Just to comment on filipinos not having birth certificate, what they should do is to file for a late registration and wait for it to come out at the PSA but just dont know how long will it take.

birth certificate was filed in the municipal registrar at any time after birth of any citizen..filipino who need a copy for legal purposes can make a request in a minute..so pay 50 pesos 1 u.s dollar only and can take the same time you make a request..the registrar will encode from the original copy filed in the registrar and easily can take with authenticated signature and stamp.easy!

Sell that house and buy another which has an Inlaw suite... then rent out the main part of the home and stay in the Inlaw suite when you’re in the USA. Thus you have consistent income and a place to stay

Create a movie about an expat finding a new life in the Philippines but make it a comedy. I would watch it. You can portray culture shocks in the Philippines vs America in a comical way but not offensive to the cultures. I think it would be a big hit. A character that wants a second chance in life and finds it in the Philippines and the funny yet meaningful experiences he goes through to find a new home.

Late registration birth certificate can be done here. You just have to present yourself to the civil registrar of the town you were born and get yourself the list of things you have to do. And you will need a lawyer to make a few affidavits.
