I almost identify 100% with Gary's China's experience. I too, lived in China 2010-1015, married a Chinese girl but pretty soon after arrival in 2010 ... my Chinese GF explained to me the real character of Chinese people both in the social circle and the business environment. Basically she said don't trust Chinese people because they will take advantage of the "Waiguoren Foreigners" because the past Chinese Chairman Deng Xiaoping ... told the Chinese people... it was ok to do so.
My story goes deeper that this but the moral of the story is ... " You gotta keep moving forward everyday"

what a diverse life Gary has had - in business, relationships & living in foreign countries. i was totally captured. i particularly liked how he sourced Chinese factories & got samples made. Mark, you have the knack of listening very intently, commenting & asking only what’s appropriate, listening to the feelings behind the words. you were able to bring him out to share some of his more emotive experiences. Wish i had your skill - you set such great example on how to interview.

Gary seems like a really good guy. I've seen him on his wife's channel a few times. They seem very happy together. They recently did a video together and I was surprised to learn Gary is 60 and they have a 38-year gap. I thought Gary looks early to mid 50's.
