Looks awesome! By far my favorite release in a while. I have added and subtracted several upgrades from brushless to OD, UD, link riser, and wheels/tires. The reduced spur/pinion gear and removed shock springs and bump stops were my best performance gain. I also added center pull-down straps to keep it planted on the rocks. 64-degree incline are not a problem.
Man it's your money but I'm living on a tight budget so my hobby is on a tighter one, I'm glad to have what I am able to get, but I can't see these kind of expenses for me... I mean a 1:1 would be great to go all out with...😂 Nice 18th Scale Teensy Truck Greg ✌🤠👍 HFLPRCing =Having Fun Laughing Playing and RCing 👍😎👍 AOAH =Association of Addicted Hobbiest 🙏SSPH =Stay Safe and Play Healthy My Friend
I added the overdrive gears in my front axels in my UTB18 and my 1/10 CAPRA. One of the best upgrades as far as performance I've added yet. The Furitek brushless and new reciever for my Spektrum radio is next in the UTB18 to utilize the rear steer better.
Hey Greg. Finally some more utb18 love. We love ours many mods also esp electronics and links. Which bec did you pick? No link in details... thanks bud
I got interested in the Harvey about a year ago when a buddy of mine showed me his axial wraith. The thing was super fun to mess around with so last week. I finally got around to buying a utb18 and I’m hooked. My problem is the closest hobby shop is a 3 Hour Dr. away from me because I live in a very rural area. Is there any forums that have a lot of good information that could help somebody such as myself who is wanting to build his own rig
I just felt like doing the project and then saw CCXRC posted a video same day. Just a coincidence. It is a rig I enjoy though. Perfect for the rock wall in my backyard.
1. It's $550, and that's before tax+shipping. 2. He's going to more than make up the cost from the monetization of this video; that was the whole point. 3. Furitek has been, for the last year, spamming every RC channel on RUclips - I hear their 'terms and conditions' are quite "favorable" to reviewers. He (and all but the most righteous) couldn't say no.

It would be nice to have weight on the inside of the tire as well. This is a great video.👍👍👍

Cool...i luv mine running a 1060esc with a spektrum radio receiver smooth modulation
I'll bet that thing is a gem to drive now!!
Yeah, driving the stock was good, but then drop in the Furitek system and just wow.
Looks great out there. Some good parts to look at.

Sorry! Added it.
I was about to buy one of these when the I saw the $299 Axial SCX10 Bronco.
It’ll be one of the next ones though!!
Yeah, that was a killer deal on the Bronco. Good choice there.
Those are fantastic parts!
Hello, can you do a video cleaning the utb18? Thanks
Sure have a lot of axle threads left. Throw some wider hexes on there!

I don't know of any forums, but there's several subbreddits on reddit related to rc cars and rc crawling
Holmes Hobbies makes the BEC bypass wires 👍
you need to more stuff on it & show longer videos?
What size are those wheels? 1.9? I know they aren’t made anymore but curious on their size. Thanks in advance.
Without changing the gearing do you get any more wheel speed with the Furitek system?
It’s beautiful 😍
Is there something I'm missing? All the youtubers are doing 1/18 capera videos

It's a fun size without being too small like the trxm and scx24 lines. Some of us have man hands 😆
Yea I've been looking at them but I think I want a scx24 to start, I like how upgradable they are
take the lower cups off the shocks
First i guess?
Senseless
I dunno about dropping 5 Benjamins on a $250 RC, but the Furitek IS tempting.
