I thought it'd be a toss-up between the 8 Reale and the 1793 left facing half cent for #1. I completely forgot about the 4 pence too. I had EVERY denomination and type of British coin, and never even heard of a 4 pence. That has GOT to be scare. Omg this video was awesome! Going out now to detect. 😁

Thank you for showing your top coin finds of 2022. I was fortunate enough to spend time with family in North Carolina over the holidays and took my metal detector with me. Their home was built in 1805. I didn't have too much time to get out, and I didn't find anything earth shattering, but I had a fun time. Looking forward to returning some day. I know there's something great to be found there.

Wow, what a great haul of finds. I have never seen coins that old. I recently acquired an 1839, 1850 and 1890 seated dimes. Loved this video, learned so much. Thank you.
Loved watching this, just started my metal detecting journey in the great state of NH. Just found a half penny 1806 so hopefully I can find some top 5 coins in the future.

@@dogtagdoug6751 it was Mexican. My detecting buddy Mike dug a counterfeit Mexican 8 Reale last year, it appears to be brass; we’re guessing it was silver plated.
