- Can't wait for the Stanley Cup to start tonight! I grew up a Burins fan actually and I was devastated when they lost back in 2013. Their 2011 run was really my first taste of hockey and that team will always hold a special place in my heart. But this year is different and I think I will be cheering for the Blues. I always love seeing different teams win and even though I still like the Bruins, its GO BLUES the rest of the way!

As a Capitals fan, I will be rooting for the Blues against the Bruins. Granted, the Bruins are my second least favorite team (only the Penguins get more contempt for me, for obvious reasons), but after being the punching bag of the League for so long, I think it's about time they get to shine on the biggest stage in hockey. Us Capitals ended our own legacy of failure last year, and we had so many daemons to slay to reach the Promised Land (Blue Jackets, the freaking Penguins, the Lightning-Rangers, and then the Golden Knights), and with the competition the Blues faced in the playoffs, I sincerely believe they can pull it off. That being said, all I ask from the Blues is simple: win. Win the series if you can, but at least win 1 game in the Finals. Show the hockey world you are not the walking punchline any more, and believe me, the longer you wait for the first Cup win, the more sweeter it gets when it finally happens. Go Blues!

The refs are really bad about calling things against the Bruins so the Blues have to spent 24/7 in the penalty box because the refs HATE THE BLUES!!!!

I am a European hockey fan and started watching the NHL last year. I chose the Saint Louis Blues as my favorite team because I had a sympathy for them, I wanted to witness their first Stanley Cup win. Even when they were bloody last I continued rooting for them, and it payed out. My first year as a Blues fan - also the first year for them to win the cup. I am so happy

The head coach can make a world of difference. You combine that with the use of Gloria, an upbeat song that gets them more amped before games, add Binnington to it all, and suddenly all the pieces finally came together. The team chemistry changed, and got the right netminder (sorry, not sorry Allen!), and you've got a team with a legitimate chance at the Cup.

Stories like this is why the NHL is so great. The parity in the league is incomparable and it makes for fun playoffs where you don't know what will happen, unlike the NBA lol... that being said, I still don't like the Blues

Hey Cole, I just wanted to say, what a great job you did on this video! I think if you could make a great finish to this video, like a part 2 if you will, of the STL Blues winning it all for the first time in franchise history, in 7 games, I know that this is old news now but, I bet you a bunch of people will definitely watch the 2nd part... Its such a great sports story and in so many different directions as well. From Binnington's rookie debut and cup run, to a team victory song, to a hometown hero in Maroon's 2OT game winner vs Dallas, to even some NHL records being broke and Blues franchise records being broken and recorded all by this team, to even the Stanley Cup parade where all the players and staff walked down Market Street with the Cup in hand just so they could include all the fans being able to be right there involved with the players and the Cup, (we've never seen anything like that before, what class!). I just think its one of those sports stories/ movies like a "Rudy", or "Miracle", or "Hoosiers". A great story to say the least.. especially one for you to tell! I understand if youre too busy tho!
