Hey everyone, Ben here and welcome to one of the toughest challenges of the #iracing season - LMP3 and GT4 multiclass racing at Long Beach. I’ve made life even harder for myself by glancing the wall twice in qualifying, so we’ll line up P18 of a 24 car LMP3 field, with 10 GT4 cars joining us on the grid too.

Last night I was leading by a solid 15 seconds with 5 minutes to go and my CPU overheated and shut down my computer 😪
Ahhhhh mate that’s gutting. A painfully accurate simulation of how real life drivers feel when their car packs in when leading 😣

I don't even bother doing qualifying in this series (this track) you are guaranteed moving I to the top 10 after the first lap people just don't have the patience in a 30min race

Ha yeah I’ve definitely been caught by a lack of brakes being held often enough to appreciate it massively when somebody actually does it!!

Cheers Sam - v tricky but it’s one of those tracks you can sort of just get into a groove. Albeit dodging traffic and crashes can soon shake you out of that!!

This series looks far too stressful for my liking. A really difficult car to drive, with the added jeopardy of multi-class challenges thrown in for good measure. At Long Beach! Great work on a 0x with all that to contend with!
Haha I secretly love Long Beach, but there was definitely a big chunk of luck to not get caught in something in this one!

@@Ben_LaBroca Can't be much worse than RingMeister haha, although I somehow managed to get a win in the 718 this week. Looking forward to do some races on Long Beach in the GT4! Good result in the video :)

It's a good combo, the nature of this track means the closing speed between the 2 classes is not as great. Hopefully that means we see less carnage caused by bad decisions and miscommunication. However, as we know street tracks can bite so we'll see lol. Cheers for the race Ben, hopefully see you on track again soon. :)

@@Ben_LaBroca Thanks Ben, it was a quiet race for me, trying to work out a setup for the week and stay out of trouble lol I must say for such a big field of prototypes it was remarkably clean, we'll see what happens later in the week as the fields get a bit faster and more aggressive. Nice drive thru that field for you, can't complain when you score some IR & SR.
