I feel your pain.... I ordered a 2022 f350 antimatter blue platinum in may of 2022.... And should finally be here in 2 weeks. That's over a year and a half.
Front end looked way better on previous years, don't like headlights at all....just looks like a base WT outline And the weird cut out on the front door Sure it's a great truck, 4k is solid fir diesel in payload
Everyone likes to complain about price. A truck makes me money so price isn’t something I’m tripping about. BUT $90k tremor without a spray in box liner? thats one thing I’m like ehhh, nope. The liner is a necessity for me lol.
I wanted a Platinum too but I settled for a loaded out Lariat Ultimate with everything but Pro Power and Max Recline, very happy. AntiMatter Blue is amazing, so happy I went with that color, it looks black in but the brightest sun.
@@timtroia3785 Like what?”, the silly multi contour seats I had in my 2017?! The LED projectors over the LED reflector headlight, that’s valid but these are 90% as good. I have an Ultimate so it has everything else, B&O Unleashed, HUD, 360 Cameras, Big 12” screen, Trailer Pro silliness, Pano roof, bed lighting, 5th wheel prep, BAP, etc. Short of those few items it has it all and no fugly chrome like I’d have on a Platinum. Don’t get me wrong, I’d prefer a Platinum, but for $6K more and another 6+ month wait, maybe longer, it wasn’t worth it. I’ve had four King Ranch SD’s prior to this one and this is still by far the nicest one of the bunch.
@@timtroia3785 I really wanted the seats on my plain Jane Lariat...but you have to get all the other electronic garbage I PERSONALLY did not want. Heck, I PERSONALLY think the regular Lariat has too much junk but wanted the big screen and stereo which I understand is now available on an XLT.... That being said, I've come to like the 360 camera which came standard on the '23 Lariat. Still cannot stand the rear brake sensor thingy, and I do not like the e-parking brake.
After a year with a 22 lariat godzilla, I traded in for an xl stx diesel. Not missing the luxury bits and not missing 21L/100km 13 month average gas consumption.
JB... After waiting for so long for my 2023 F450 Limited, I bought new 23 Ram 3500 Limited DRW HO 6.7 Night Edition 4.1 Crew Cab w 8 ft bed. 6 speed asian trans.. I got 60k for the 2020 F350 DRW 6.7 Lariat with 54k miles and got 7k off msrp on Ram... I am very happy with my choice. I put 1500 miles in last few weeks and it is better comfortable ride. It is very quiet and engine brake is great. MPG is ok.. but 10 speed could be better. Other than that, it has better 12" I pad like screen. Stereo is better.. Ride is better and it comes with TPMS.. Rear suspension auto leveling. I don't have to do much with Ram.. It already comes with all. So, lot less drama.
The sport appearance package and it has the orange tremor sticker on the bed ! Is someone NOT reading the order guide ? It is supposed to have the black Tremor sticker when you order the sport appearance package OR the black appearance package !
@@jrod2500 Ummmmmm no it doesn’t ! I can send you a copy of the order guide if you want proof. It states that the black and grey sticker is used on the black appearance package and the sport appearance package. I showed it to my dealer and the Ford corporate representative was called and they HAD to change it. Also I showed them that my lariat also comes with LED taillights and not halogen ones, they offered me 300 dollars OR they would change them. I had them change them. The problem is nobody pays attention to these things….I DO !
@@armedprophet3321 I’m so glad that someone actually pays attention to detail!! When I custom ordered my 2022 Ram, my salesman asked if I wanted to add the cold weather package so I had heated seats, heated wheel, and remote start (I’m in Ontario) and I said “ umm last time I checked, it was included with the package I selected… so no I’m not paying extra for something that’s included”
When recently buying a truck a few dealers had custom ordered trucks that the buyer backed out of. I always wondered who orders a truck custom from manufacturer and then backs out once it arrives. Now I know it’s people who make RUclips videos.
I think it's people who order it and get told a that it will take 3-6 months and it winds up taking 9-12. During that time it's likely that the buyer found another vehicle. I speak from personal experience, because I ordered a '22 F250 Platinum Tremor in November 2021 that was not built until November 2022. They had originally told me 3-4 months however by Spring 2022 I found a '22 F250 King Ranch Tremor that was available and I bought it instead (ironically, someone else's custom ordered F250).
The dealership definitely seems to matter with ford. I ordered a 2024 f-350 lariat ultimate with the 6.7 ho 7/28 got an email it will be built starting week of October 2nd….that of course doesn’t take into account for when the uaw goes on strike next week
That is a beautiful truck. I also remember you have an AT4X on the way. My only concern with the 2025 Ram will be the cost. The 2024 model is sitting at 107k. With that number, I would think a refreshed 2025 will be close to 115k.
I have to do a video on that AT4X next week now that you mentioned it. That’s the only fear I have with getting a RAM, that price can’t be $10k more than Ford and $20k more than GM because you’re right, I probably will pass
I have lariat ult tremor in 6.7 HO. The front brake assist is annoying several times it has slammed on brakes on me and made me look stupid. Doesnt like tall curbs/signs /or car washes. I leaver it turned on just in case but I don't like it. Also they wouldn't let me get power boards with BAP pkg had to add AMP after the fact
I can buy a whole truck for $12500 (cost of the engine). It's insane that when you said that truck is "kinda base" at $90k to show how crazy prices are.
The risk here is Ram now doing anything substantial for 2025. For 3 years I’ve heard rumors of ZF 8 speed or Allison 9 speed for the Cummins. The 1500 5th gen cab instead of the 4th gen cab. So far every rumor has been false. In 2023 they changed the mirrors though! 😂
@@nabatron21 Anything would be better than these flip up ones I have on my 1500 - really do a bad job with blinds spots flipped down but I hate the way they looked flipped out when I am not towing.
I ordered a ‘24 F550 chassis cab , Lariat, power stroke, in antimatter blue, on July 18th. Got vin number yesterday from Ford saying it will be built week of Oct 2nd.
No heads up display is a good thing. New windshields for that truck are crazy expensive. Of course the sticker price on that truck is straight up criminal. Wow.
Death wobble is a SFA issue not a manufacturer issue and it can be caused by many different things. I've been driving F and E series for decades and never had death wobble, including on my current '22 F250. I have experienced death wobble on an Isuzu NPR (with SFA)
I've heard this about the Rubicon 392. Fortunately, I have a dealership here in Oklahoma that could get it. BUT, I can't do it right now. Got hit with $70k in home updates/repairs and have to pay cash because I'm not about to take out an 8% interest home equity loan. Also be careful with these Fords right now. The COO/my buddy at work is driving one of our fleet Chevy's right now because the fan clutch went out on his 2023 and he's three weeks out on the part.
Prices are just absolutely ridiculous! Then when you listen to Fain and the UAW and what hes pushing for and calling GM's recent offer disgraceful, not quoted, prices will continue to jusy increase. If Fain and the UAW cared they would threaten a strike if the automakers dont decrease prices not ask for a ridiculous increase in salaries.
Unless you got something coming soon I don't get what you're doing you. You already have to gm trucks have for that reason I have actually been skipping videos because that's all you ever have on here, you should have just got the damn Ford traded it in on the next ram.
