I didn't even think your look was weird, it feels so cohesive on you, I didn't even think about it. I like it a lot though, it's pretty cool if you ask me.
I only ever used gel-type semi-permanent colors once in my life and I hated them a lot. The result kinda looked like inked up hair, not pretty, not shiny, not nicely distributed. I never did that again after that one experience. But I do also find it quite interesting how these lifted, that's a bit odd to me tbh. I usually get bright sky blue when I lift out purples and a green/minty color when I lift out blue. Which are both actually still looking quite pretty and CAN be THE solution to counteract unwanted tones in your hair ACTUALLY permanently. I once achieved an absolutely truly permanent steel-grey with such an experiment, it never faded back to a warmer, brassy color, it just stayed that way until I colored over it.

I've had bad luck using kiss hair dye recently. Super splotchy and not pigmented. And I'm an adore girlie, so I figured it would be similar. And seeing this I'm convinced to ditch them entirely.
I wish I would’ve seen this like 2 weeks ago when I did my own hair! The bleach gave me a SUPER even lift and I loved the formulation they used, however it burned SO bad. It made my skin super red almost like a chemical burn but not. Then I went and mixed the green and blue kit using more green than blue and it came out very MID. Like it’s cute but for some reason my roots have changed to this weird ass yellow/green, I left it on for 30 min to really hit home on the color and it still faded weird. It’s been through 4 washes with cool water. I 100% agree with you, I don’t recommend using this kit honestly. It’s an awesome concept but the execution was lacking. I’d use manic panic or dare I say splat over this kit 😂 I haven’t used splat since I was a teen but it did better than this.

40 volume seems to be the norm for these packs its like they want people to fry their hair off... thing is half the time they don't even say what volume it is guess thats one good thing about this set.
I've a question. What's the best lavender purple 💜 for hair that...well, has trouble taking the dye properly. My hair will do high lifts quite well but the dye is a bit finicky. My recent came out, despite not what it was supposed still quite gorgeous but it definitely wasn't whole head more like highlights? My hair is blonde but there definitely bits that are a tad darker, or were and originally my hair is black to dark brown so it has that ginger undertone. I don't know, but is there a really good brand of lavender purple??
when I saw the 40 volume, all that entered my mind was the amount of Hair Fail videos that are going to come out as a result.
man I wish I had waited to watch you review it. I didn't use the bleach and it still screwed up my hair and the purple washed out completely in 3 washes. blue is almost gone and the green turned yellow after a month.
