Since you died 745 times and each death equals 15 seconds waiting to respawn, that means in total you spent 3 hours 7 minutes and 45 seconds staring at the death screen on this playthrough alone.
And during boss fights it's 30 seconds so it's actually even longer
@ericridgeway2846 it's only longer if you are playing multiplayer in a boss fight if I am not mistaken
the respawn timer should be faster
Yeah i’m not too sure why they make it longer if you play in Expert or Master Mode

Y'know, I was going to say something to the effect of "you probably should've swapped to red riding armor after golem", but it occurred to me that Old One's Army would be absolutely _hellish_ with 1 HP.

@ricardomilos-z6h I don't believe so. I used that last playthrough of mine, so unless they patched it within the month, it should be fine .

Edit: the short goblins are getting thru for some reason but i think i didnt set it properly so it should still work.
16:50 - If you click the lock inventory button it will stop you from clicking onto another item, I recommend you lock it.

fun fact, golem doesnt enrage outside of the temple. it enrages once you take it outside the underground jungle entirely

@RavenGamingOverLord well since you can play with any character on any world, someone you play with could log in with the picksaw or something stronger and break the lizhard bricks

You should see if you can beat terraria without crafting.
I like to imagine that 1HP is super sensitive to all pain and just implodes when he mildy hurts in any way

I had a world were the golem room was literly 4x bigger than this.
I remember when Gungnir was just a wee lad. I was on vacation and my family came across a lost little Gungbert at Disney World. He had been separated from his family. We took him in and walked around the park in search of his family, but they were nowhere to be found! Finally, after hours of searching (and a quick break to film a quick terraria challenge) Gunther's family found us by Splash Mountain. It was such a relief to see Gunanir return to his family! Please remember how important it is to keep your terraria youtubers close at all times, they might just get lost!

Also another way to cheese the Vortex Pillar it's just make a hole in the ground, block the top, and make a tiny hole up where you're, Vortex enemies can't go through blocks so you can shoot through blocks or with hoiks.
Great job gungnir but remember if you do this challenge again remember to keep healing potions and a nurse nearby so you can heal

@TENEBRIS-THE-OFFICALwas it hardcore? A week ago on my hardcore master grind I lost post plantera hardcore master (attempt 77) to some pirates AFTER I COMPLETED THE INVASION, I did not go nuts. long story short 6 days later I beat ML on attempt 79 of hardcore master. Persevere.
oh and right after that I began the for the worthy grind, attempt 20 something rn

Now that you've finished a 1hp run, It would be interesting to see if you can do a no-dodge run. A run where you have to build for defense or Regen in order to survive. It would be cool if that were possible!
He did do videos on both tankiness and regen stacking. Suffice to say, stacking either of those two is definitely not a challenge run; Gungnir facetanked the Moon Lord's deathray in both runs, with regen buffs making him nigh unkillable.
I forget, was that in master mode? It may not be viable if he showed that video in expert mode

he did no dodges this run as well, he mentions it briefly around duke fishron because it would have killed the challenge

I'm surprised seeing Gungnir using a non-upgraded shark tooth necklace and pink horseshoe balloon post-golem.

Wel,l now the overwhelming surprise of being shouted out by one of my favourite youtubers out of the blue has wore off, I can say congrats on beating the challenge! Also that nebula cheese you showed is great information as it was the last pillar I couldn't find a way to cheese
It seems like just yesterday, when little gungnir was struggling to no hit bosses with 20 hp in expert mode, and now he’s no hitting bosses with 1 hp in master mode… they grow up so fast

According to the wiki, Golem only enrages if you fight him outside of the underground jungle. So if you wanted, you could dig out a nice big arena under the temple, then teleport out. I'm not sure if he would follow you though

I would have recommended switching to summoner after getting terraprisma because summoner generally has higher dps with terraprisma and if you decide not to use a whip you can focus more on dodging.

It's not that golem is a hard boss. It's that I couldn't fight him in the cramp temple arena since the patch. But the strategy you use has solved that problem for me, thank you so much.

So two things here,
1. The cultist is very easily dogable on the ground.
2. So asphalt is a thing, you can outrun moonlord pretty good like that, the only things to look out for are lasers and the deathray wich you can just fly over.
Btw the xeno popper has the same dps as the chain gun and is way more efficient on ammo and accuracy
This is my average play through I never play Melee or grind out buffs
awesome vid and when u do these challenges you are so good in them that the bosses seem to easy but when i try
to beat them normally on like expert mod they are still hard.
You can slow golem’s movements with honey.

“Why did you use vortex beater?” is the question I ask every time I see someone use it. Understandable in this situation though.
This has told me that golem enrages because I’ve murdered him so many times above the surface without a problem 😂

Cool to see the chain gun being used, you also used the best reforge, rapid, which makes it the fastest use time item. With mods to lower use time I made it sound like an A-10 Warthog. It just shoots so many bullets but with chlorophyte its op.

Every single time i fight the vortex pillar, I just dig a hole under the pillar and aim up.
You should’ve invested into crafting some hunter/dangersense potions so you could see thorns and small enemies better, I would think it could’ve been incredibly useful against the queen bee to see all the little bees
I never realized Queen Bee enraged above ground in the Jungle. My first master mode playthrough I fought Queen Bee on the surface and thought it was just hard because it was Master Mode, turns out I was playing against an even more difficult boss.

When me and my brother were fighting golem on legendary zenith what we did is made a large arena below golem arena and had one person spawn it and to to the other, you can do this in single player with a bed in the arena tho. It made the fight much easier even enraged, tho we had some other arena tricks that helped us not just an outside arena
i just finished up my achievement hunting and it honestly surprises me that 60% of players have not defeated the wall of flesh, meaning they havent even scratched the surface of the entire full terraria experience.
Terraria set to I Wanna Be The Guy difficulty definitely makes for a unique experience and challenge. Don't think I could ever do it though, lol.
Suggestion: beat the game using weapons dropped by non-boss enemies

it's easy as well. with the inventory open there should be a lock icon next to the hotbar. simply set it to "locked"

Im doing a mastermode playthrough, and the clinger staff is pretty good at killing event enemies if you can get them to stay right above/below you. The nimbus rod also helps.
your words at the end really reminded me of how i felt after i beat death mode SCal back in december 2020, like did you know SCals attacks actually follow a set pattern (or atleast did)? same attacks in the same order every time.
Damn this makes me want to play terraria again, but the last time I played, beating all of the mechs was beating the game

Watching this, it’d be nice to have an ammo version of Zenith. Mixing 9999 of each same ammo type and it’s like the regular ammo pouch but you can access another window to switch ammo. Just for convenience, but you still have to farm for it including the opposite evil biome type.
