I remember when Gungnir was just a wee lad. I was on vacation and my family came across a lost little Gungbert at Disney World. He had been separated from his family. We took him in and walked around the park in search of his family, but they were nowhere to be found! Finally, after hours of searching (and a quick break to film a quick terraria challenge) Gunther's family found us by Splash Mountain. It was such a relief to see Gunanir return to his family! Please remember how important it is to keep your terraria youtubers close at all times, they might just get lost!
I'm new to Terraria. Been watching a few tubers recently. Out of all I've been exposed to so far, I like you the most. Your calm and collected voice is very soothing. It is very enjoyable watching, and especially, listening to you.
You should try watching Sockertreez or Wand of Sparking. Sock makes videos explaining weapons and mechanics in Terraria, while Wand of Sparking makes challenge videos and does mythbusters. They are both really entertaining.

*Those Celestial Pillar cheeses are glorious* Also another way to cheese the Vortex Pillar it's just make a hole in the ground, block the top, and make a tiny hole up where you're, Vortex enemies can't go through blocks so you can shoot through blocks or with hoiks.
Now that you've finished a 1hp run, It would be interesting to see if you can do a no-dodge run. A run where you have to build for defense or Regen in order to survive. It would be cool if that were possible!
He did do videos on both tankiness and regen stacking. Suffice to say, stacking either of those two is definitely not a challenge run; Gungnir facetanked the Moon Lord's deathray in both runs, with regen buffs making him nigh unkillable.

A challenge, Now that you have mastered the bosses of terraria, how about getting familiar with the game as a whole, by doing a "Low Achievements Run" of the game. To my knowledge in 1.4.4 you are only required to get 12 out of the 115 achievements to beat the game, but sadly there are 3 completely luck dependent instant resets, in the form of the "surviving a solar eclipse", "surviving a bloodmoon" and "surviving a slime rain", thankfully you can just ignore them if they happen to save your sanity. The 12 required achievements are: Surviving your first night, Killing skeletron, Entering hell, Killing WoF, Entering hardmode, Obtaining a boss summon, Killing the 3 mech bosses, Killing plantera, Entering the Jungle temple, Killing golem, Killing lunatic cultist, Killing moonlord. Every other achievement is optional. I'm still doing testing to see how to actually do this run in full, and so far I've found ways to get life crystals post-skeletron, get access to gold chest loot without opening a gold chest and a way to avoid the random fairy spawns. I've made a full list of all the things you can and can't do/get, so I might make it a Google doc if people want to see it.
Idk if they changed it in 1.4.4 but i thought you only get the 'entering the jungle temple' achievement if you unlock the door, so if you glitch in using platforms you might be able to get in without a achievement (i might be wrong, im only saying this because ive killed golem many times but for some reason i never got the achievement)
@@Twangy0_0 the problem is that you need to hammer the platforms, but you can't get a hammer ever, i did find a way to the them though, but if it works or not is entierly up to world gen at the temple door
I would have recommended switching to summoner after getting terraprisma because summoner generally has higher dps with terraprisma and if you decide not to use a whip you can focus more on dodging.
I never realized Queen Bee enraged above ground in the Jungle. My first master mode playthrough I fought Queen Bee on the surface and thought it was just hard because it was Master Mode, turns out I was playing against an even more difficult boss.
I have an interesting idea for a challenge. Terraria, but you have to keep all items you get in your inventory. No throwing them away, no trashing them, no putting them in chests. This without despawning dropped tiles in any way would be interesting,
It seems like just yesterday, when little gungnir was struggling to no hit bosses with 20 hp in expert mode, and now he’s no hitting bosses with 1 hp in master mode… they grow up so fast
Im doing a mastermode playthrough, and the clinger staff is pretty good at killing event enemies if you can get them to stay right above/below you. The nimbus rod also helps.
You should’ve invested into crafting some hunter/dangersense potions so you could see thorns and small enemies better, I would think it could’ve been incredibly useful against the queen bee to see all the little bees
So two things here, 1. The cultist is very easily dogable on the ground. 2. So asphalt is a thing, you can outrun moonlord pretty good like that, the only things to look out for are lasers and the deathray wich you can just fly over.

Watching this, it’d be nice to have an ammo version of Zenith. Mixing 9999 of each same ammo type and it’s like the regular ammo pouch but you can access another window to switch ammo. Just for convenience, but you still have to farm for it including the opposite evil biome type.

When me and my brother were fighting golem on legendary zenith what we did is made a large arena below golem arena and had one person spawn it and to to the other, you can do this in single player with a bed in the arena tho. It made the fight much easier even enraged, tho we had some other arena tricks that helped us not just an outside arena
i just finished up my achievement hunting and it honestly surprises me that 60% of players have not defeated the wall of flesh, meaning they havent even scratched the surface of the entire full terraria experience.
you could get the Tabi for Dashes, which is a component of the Ninja Gear but isn't the dodge change, that belonging to the Black Belt. It would probably need to replace your Shield, but it would lose you the shield bonk.

16:51 and that's why i have that "clicking on your hotbar" feature disabled. it's easy as well. with the inventory open there should be a lock icon next to the hotbar. simply set it to "locked"
Since you mention it with Golem, maybe a challenge run of not building/creating arenas? I have a disdain for building arenas for bosses and to see a run where you just can't build would be interesting, imho. I don't know, just feels like cheating to me.
your words at the end really reminded me of how i felt after i beat death mode SCal back in december 2020, like did you know SCals attacks actually follow a set pattern (or atleast did)? same attacks in the same order every time.
Golem was easy, how you struggled is just a lack of experience I think. Just fight him more often with lower gear. Or preferably try it with calamity's 1 hit death debuff. You'll learn so fast it'll blow your mind. Second, I cannot believe people still do this but it's stupid to use the hoik trick with 3 blocks instead of just 1 or 2. Remove the lowest block, you have no more need to hold down to go through. It's so much less energy intensive. Also, I believe I said this before but the quick housing is 3 wide 10 tall. That's the absolute minimum and the quickest build. I have schematics I could share if you like for biome housing (temporary of course) Lasttly, this one offends me because it's really old, even older to me than hoiking. The spike balls give immunity frames. Use darts and spears instead. Only those two. They ifgnore immunity frames which gives you an extra hit on them giving you a much higher damage output. I believe you could even make the spears intangible and they still do damage but so far I've only ever tried that with the darts which I guarantee you personally tthat that works! Not to tell you you suck btw I mean I couldn't possibly beat this challenge without pulling my nonexistent hair out! Still, these tips should make it even easier for you. Also also, remember that removing the lower block means you don't have to hold down? Well enemies refuse to jump as well so you could trap them using that trick as well. Just make sure you are lower than them or you have a block preventing them from jumping too high. Best part, you can hit them, they can't even see you let alone hit you! Just don't use this trick on old ones, they have a tendency to ignore basic physics :/

You probably could've made use of venom dart traps for the frost moon arena. An extra 30 DPS or so goes a long way when it comes to event farming.

it's easy as well. with the inventory open there should be a lock icon next to the hotbar. simply set it to "locked"

Since you mention it with Golem, maybe a challenge run of not building/creating arenas?
I have a disdain for building arenas for bosses and to see a run where you just can't build would be interesting, imho. I don't know, just feels like cheating to me.
your words at the end really reminded me of how i felt after i beat death mode SCal back in december 2020, like did you know SCals attacks actually follow a set pattern (or atleast did)? same attacks in the same order every time.

Golem was easy, how you struggled is just a lack of experience I think. Just fight him more often with lower gear. Or preferably try it with calamity's 1 hit death debuff. You'll learn so fast it'll blow your mind. Second, I cannot believe people still do this but it's stupid to use the hoik trick with 3 blocks instead of just 1 or 2. Remove the lowest block, you have no more need to hold down to go through. It's so much less energy intensive. Also, I believe I said this before but the quick housing is 3 wide 10 tall. That's the absolute minimum and the quickest build. I have schematics I could share if you like for biome housing (temporary of course)
Lasttly, this one offends me because it's really old, even older to me than hoiking. The spike balls give immunity frames. Use darts and spears instead. Only those two. They ifgnore immunity frames which gives you an extra hit on them giving you a much higher damage output. I believe you could even make the spears intangible and they still do damage but so far I've only ever tried that with the darts which I guarantee you personally tthat that works! Not to tell you you suck btw I mean I couldn't possibly beat this challenge without pulling my nonexistent hair out! Still, these tips should make it even easier for you. Also also, remember that removing the lower block means you don't have to hold down? Well enemies refuse to jump as well so you could trap them using that trick as well. Just make sure you are lower than them or you have a block preventing them from jumping too high. Best part, you can hit them, they can't even see you let alone hit you! Just don't use this trick on old ones, they have a tendency to ignore basic physics :/
