Greg Dewees you mean like a bow drill? Haven’t really messed with it, not much of a “primitive skills” guy. I’ve been meaning to work on it one of these days though.
Happily Ever Outdoors I learned from an U.S. Air Force survival manual. Not untill I 28 yrs. old. Made the bow and started a 🔥 in about a half hour using only a bayonet, a boot string and the woods. In allot of emergencys we don't have the luxury of pre-planning. Fire is key to survival. Have a good evening.
@@gregdewees6875 most of the time in the woods you dont have time to tinker around. even in an extreme survival "situation" you have so many better ways of getting yourself out of trouble. not to mention you must find the perfect wood and place to do it. of course knowledge weight nothing , but lighting fires that way all year long no...
