Please reply, I did everything in the video. And when I booted, it only showed the nintendo logo and it won't get past that. My console itself is not banned and I just accessed the Eshop on OFW before doing this tutorial. What can I do? I use an unpatched switch with NS-Atmosphere payload injector, it won't boot in Hekate as well. Goes black screen after the Nintendo Logo and nothing happens after.
please use my latest pack, github.com/sthetix/HATS, and please delete the existing atmosphere and bootloader folder, and then launch the sysmmc, and later it can boot to OFW just fine.

I have a chip modded switch. Unfortunately I didn’t factory reset before the chip install and now would like to do that however am not sure what steps to take. Any chance you can cover that or help? How do I wipe my sysnand clean and create a fresh emummc one? Thank you

After I system wiped, the nintendo logo shows up but then it turns off. I have checked out your HATS video and thats not useful since tegraRcm is detecting my switch. What can I do?
You need to launch the sysmmc to make the OFW work again. Try to press and hold the power button for 12 secs to get back to hekate.
Hi, while the outage, I left my switch plugged to the ac adapter. when the power went back. I have issue booting my switch. It won't pass the Nintendo logo. It went black screen. I tried jailbroken it boots normally. I tried to do a system wipe. The issue is still the same. Any suggestions? thanks.

For those who did this, and then did an emunand and got a black screen on the stock firmware, the only option is to run the sysnand for legitimate games and online mode to avoid bans, consoles that have already been initialized for some reason do not start OFW afterwards of an emunand.
Update: replace your SD card with new files after carrying out this procedure, your CFW stock may work again.
Boot in sysnand and finalize the initial setup, power off the game and boot OFW.
I have setup the emuNAND with a partition in my SD card. even though I didn't remove the SD card when I restarted ,when I loaded the OFW it told me I needed to format the SD card in order to make it work in the OFW. Do I need another SD card when I load the OFW or can use the same one with the CFW stuff (pirated games etc)?

does tegraexplorer sysmmc wipe zero out the deleted data on sysnand? from the video, looks like the system wipe only took a few seconds, so it probably didn't zero out the deleted data.

That's great because I never access eShop and online with the Nintendo server like Super Mario Kart ever. Never. So that's mean I can always use the systemwipe easy instead. So I don't need emuMMC, right ?
yes you can do the systemwipe. setup emunand if needed
is this systemwipe procedure same with if we boot to OFW or in your pack term is Sys CFW and doing factory reset?

I watched one of your videos where you said it's not completely legit to boot OFW with Hetake, so if I have a hacked Switch and wants to play online, how should I boot my Switch to OFW if it's hardware modified? I believe it always boot into Hetake, can I change it up to boot OFW all the time and only boot Hetake when it's necessary?(If yes, how) Thank you! :)
yes to play online you need to boot to the ofw mode. you cannot autoboot to the ofw all the time.
I play games on emunand but wanted to play online on ofw/sysnand. Do I need to reinstall all my games on emunand after doing systemwipe on sysnand?

Question: I´ve set up EMUMMC along with 90dns and Tinfoil´s Icognito where all my pirated stuff is on there. Never used Nintendo online services on there. And I´ve got a clean SYSNAND and STOCK NAND, on both there is nothing installed. Do I have to wipe the system like in the video or can I just simply go to my StockNAND and use Nintendo online services to play legit games online and use the eshop without any worries about a risk of a ban ?
if you never touched the sysnand u can go online with it.

Once I activated Tinfoils Icognito on the emummc it blanked out my serial number and it carried over to the sysnand´s serial number also. But my StockNAND hast still my original serial number. So will I be safe with that by using Nintendo´s online services ?

Ok question so say I backup all my saves and do this and start over will the saves still work once reinstalling the emummuc? So I can have an emu/mod and a non modded online console?
u can restore it with checkpoint edizon or jksv. so emunand for offline and sysnand for online usage

I don't have the jksv video but maybe you need to google it. after backing up the save data, do the systemwipe, then try to access the eshop. you are not banned if you can access the eshop without errors
At the Lockpick RCM stage I am being told this:
"Unable to open SD seed vector. Skipping."
"Unable to get SD seed."
I'm using a brand new official nintendo SD card, and it is FAT32. chkdsk won't work.
Can I move on to the tegra explorer stage without the SD seed?

@@sthetixofficial had some more problems. When I dragged over lockpick and tegraexplorer to the bootloader folder, the console wouldn’t start anymore even after deleting the two files.

FYI, readl OFW doesnt exist inside the launch menu. Please read github.com/CTCaer/hekate/blob/master/res/hekate_ipl_template.ini about the stock and it says : "# This is the closest to OFW, especially when AutoRCM is needed." - it means it is not 100% OFW, it bypasses the fuses count.
HOWEVER, if you insist and want to add stock, you need to edit the hekate_ipl.ini and add these line (please read the description of the link too)

I accidentally installed tinfoil on the sysmmc and want to delete it. Is it possible to just copy my emummc to my laptop and put it back on the sd card so i dont loose my data. Or do i have to back up my data on emummc differently?
it depends on where you have setup the emummc. is it an sd partition or sd files? if it an SD files type, you can just copy paste it to a new card.

Cfw is the hats pack but this guide will wipe all the data and traces of illegal Apps inside the nand..and the emunand if u have it

I bought a Switch v1 already hacked but it had the hack in the sysnand, so I followed this tutorial to clean it, everything worked fine until I updated the console, when it restarted to apply the update the screen goes black after the Nintendo logo, what? it depends on your console. is it softmodded or hardmodded?

Will this wipe all my data, and will I be able to factory reset it again in the settings, or does this guide remove the jailbreak, and also all traces, and makes the Nintendo switch like-new out of the box without the jailbreak on it anymore? I want to unjailbreak and remove all traces, along with unmodding it removing all jailbroken apps, and removing hakate. I have a lot of the files in my SD Card. I’m just hoping this guide removes my jailbreak, unmods my device, and completely wipes my console, allowing me to sell this device unjailbroken with no jailbroken apps installed on it.
If it is a softmod, then doing this will wipe the everything and make your console back to the factory settings.
FYI, hekate and its friends like the homebrew apps reside inside the SD card. You can format / delete the apps inside the sd card after doing the systemwipe.

Press the power button for 12 Secs, rerun Hekate, then launch the sysmmc. OFW will work later.

hi, i did everything correctly but after i reload the console the nintendo logo appears and the screen goes black. It doesn't continue. If i reset pressing the power button and repeating the procedure the outcome is the same. I can still load the cfw with hekate, but not the ofw without it. Why?
you need to launch the sysmmc CFW to fix the issue.

Depois do desbloqueio apresentava um erro 2002-0001 quando tentava acessar a loja e os usuários não estavam sendo vinculados, tava uma loucura o sistema original. Não conseguia sequer apagar os usuários. Fiz o procedimento e copiei os arquivos do HAT 1.62 sem formatar nada. Meu sistema ficou novinho. Vinculei as contas novamente, entrei na loja oficial, deu tudo certo. Agora estamos jogando online e com o desbloqueio ao mesmo tempo! Único canal que ensina resolver esse tipo problema, está de parabéns, você é um gênio!!

Of course you can always run Atmosphere. The only thing to have your console banned is to run or install pirated games on the sysmmc.

@sthetix hi I have already set my oled switch up and have hwfly installed but the issue is I accidently downloaded tinfoil games on sysnand and my backup isn't on emmunand. I want to factory reset to access eshop but if I do that I will be banned. Haku33 isn't working and your method on this video isn't working either. What do I do? Please help me out. 🙏

You need to get to the RCM mode, it should boot Hekate, then launch the Atmosphere. It should fix the issue

DNS has nothing to do with the systemwipe. It wipes the nand data, not the DNS you setup in the atmosphere settings.

As you have wiped the system why not simply go to original ststem and set to factory and format sd that is the easiest way

if they changed the algorithm then yes, if you don't want to get banned, do not mod ur console for good
