I found your channel while researching this tripod. I'm taking a trip in fall and was looking on B&H's website for travel tripods and this one one was top rated. Your review was a big help. I subscribed and watched several of your videos. I've enjoyed them all.
Thanks for the review. A couple questions. How tall are you? I’m 5’ 10” and looking for eye height (when center column is down). Also, do you think it would fit in side pocket of backpack?
I'm 5' 10" as well. Regarding fitting it in a backpack side pocket, it'd have to be a very big pocket. I usually just strap it to the exterior of my Mindshift Firstlight 40l backpack.

They are "free" on Amazon with the Sigma 14-24 lens purchase. Not sure if it's much better than the one I have though.

Sure, the tripod head can flip on its side for vertical shots.
