The best shredders in the world all have a shared technique. That right hand. Malmsteen, Michael Batio and that group have the most efficient right hand motion and no wasted energy or movement. Tight control of the pick. Amazing skills

Just googled "Stradivarius" for a job project and it eventually brought me here. I lived in Sweden in the 90s and of course, knew of him but never heard/saw him play. This was even more phenomenal than I'd imagined. Holy hell, he made it look effortless. Bravo, Yngwie! Helt fantastisk!!

I used to wonder if he shedded with a metronome, or just used the old internal clock to get that insane technique. Love him or not, there's no denying his stunning talent.
His right hand moves so smooth and effortlessly the efficiency is unreal
He uses a combo of alternate picking, directional picking/sweeping, and legato. Superb motion mechanics.

The thing I like about Yngwie and the entire neoclassical thing is that you are able to listen to both classical and metal together in a single piece.
