Ideally you have completed the fundamental playlist learn HVAC 000 series of videos to truly understand the heat pump concept.
Like every heat pump class I review the refrigeration cycle, and then flip it to demonstrate the concept of heat pump operation.

Bravo! I always knew heat pumps were capable. But now my mind is blown with the 460 degrees Fahrenheit to harvest from when it is 0 degrees outside. I can't wait to see the rest of the series. At this very moment I am evacuating my own heat pump system and hope to be off the expensive emergency heat by this afternoon.

Yeah, you really just have two heat exchanger/fan(blower) combos. One optimized for transfering heat to air in a ducted air environment and the other optitized for transfering heat to air in, I guess you could call it, immersed in a pool of air environment. Whether heat is going into our out of the air going over the heat exchangers is just a matter of temperature differential.
