    Is it common for the seleniod to go out?

    • @islandbeaches395
      @islandbeaches395  Год назад

      Yes like any other parts. Verify the coil is energize using a flat head screw driver on the top of center of coil and moving the screw driver up and down slowly to see if the coil energize.
      You will get a magnetic pull and If no magnetic pull. Check for power and ohm the wires with the power off.

      @@islandbeaches395I use ohms, they are usually 14 to 17.

    there is no magnet in there.. the pressure from the discharge line pushes the valve inside to each direction

      @ricardoa4322 Год назад +17

      He was talking about the magnet placed on top and on the bottom of the valve to show movement, since you can't see the actual valve inside shift

      For those that want to fix the ac for the day..tap on the reversing valve witha hammer keyword "tap" this is exactly like what you do with a bad starter on a car you tap it til it works..you live it jumped from orange to red

      @@scal760No, normally low voltage power. So 24 volts but like his reply check voltage spec on solenoid.
