To fast track getting dragon treasures Just replay the sub-mission “the greedy” in the temple of earth with Bahamut trials cranked to maximum. All that is requires is to find a specific treasure chest in a relatively small dungeon.
Oh, and summoner is a THOROUGHLY broken class. Possibly the most broken in the game with the right build.

The game is sold out everywhere. Looking for a re-releasse fully patched with all DLC included on Disc with no need for an Internet validation check. Please and thank you.

So after finishing Wo Long, I decided to get this game as well and hot damn - this game is so much better, it's not even funny.
Where the parry dominates Wo Long's battle system to the point where most every other combat option plays second fiddle to it, here that same concept is implemented in a much more purposeful and considered way. The loot and character customization systems make way more sense, the combo options and jobs are way more varied than their equivalents and and and - so frustrating that Squeenix chose to make an Epic exclusivity deal with this, more people should know about this game!
Plus while the story may be pretty garbage, its trashiness is far more endearing than the vapid nothing that Wo Long had going on. And I say all that as someone who actually really enjoyed that game!

Is parry important at all with this game?
I was super hyped for Wo Long and ultimately cancelled my preorder after the demo because I can't parry well enough for the games demands. Nioh 1&2 are my favorite games of all time and while I fully expect Strangers of Paradise to be a B-tier Nioh....I'd like to be sure its TRULY not a game that depends on players being good at parry to get to the end. Thanks!

@@rogerbabin8175 Hmm, depends on how deep you want to dive into this game, I'd say - if you primarily want to play through the campaign on Normal difficulty, you're absolutely safe to ignore it completely.
That said, you'll definitely benefit from remembering to parry some specific attacks instead of dodging/blocking them no matter what difficulty you're on, as doing so lets you temporarily steal some quite powerful enemy attacks for yourself.
Also, there are different tiers of parry in the game and the easiest - though costly to what is functionally your poise - is pretty much completely safe to just throw out whenever.
If, however, you want to get into the post-game (which is functionally a higher difficulty level, like in Nioh) and/or DLC, it starts to become more important as many, maybe even most, enemies start throwing out ludicrous damage along with stun/petrification effects that will outright annihilate you if you're not careful.
Even then it's never a necessity though - if you enjoyed Nioh you'll definitely be able to get through this one with or without it. Quite easily at that.

@@rogerbabin8175 late reply, the Wo Long demo's parry is like 2/3 of the final game's parry window, Stranger is good, while it does have some similarities to nioh because of course it's from the same damn dev, the game does a lot of cool things, the gameplay systems are really unique and the looting is actually fun, the bosses are also pretty good, on the whole parry thing, you don't need to parry of course but on later difficulties and dlc bosses, you will need to build into the soul shield to not have to parry, as from dlc 2 onwards, bosses are hyper aggressive and they tend to have attacks that will chunk the whole break gauge. Well Stranger has some vertical difficulty spikes though, but it's def doable lol

@@sadnessdiplomacy1985 Thanks. Haven't bought the game yet so its still good info. From what I researched I'm not sure I'll get the DLC's. People seemed pretty underwhelmed by them and that experience was said to be super grindy. I find DLC's to be too difficult in souls games often hitting a wall I can't surpass. In the Nioh games I only ever go back and try the base game DLC when I was deep into NG+ if not NG++

@@rogerbabin8175 yeah I really wouldn't recommend getting the dlcs of stranger if you are not into atleast some amount of grinding, boiled down to the basics the 3 dlcs consist of 1 real new level and 6 completely new bosses and 2 new weapons, for me who enjoys the combat greatly and really don't mind grinding and the game's steep difficulty curve the dlcs were perfect but for most people it's not a good deal, the dlc bosses are really good though

I found that this DLC was rather short because of the treasure system. If you're comfortable with these types of games, you easily earn upwards of a 1000 per mission.

I guess i can't expect them to fix the Loot Drop System? Or even better, implement a crafting system complimenting the abundance of loot. That would require actual work for the developers. So thats a no...

    • @HansAlRachid
      @HansAlRachid Год назад +2

Yeah for some reason this dev team loves shoving ludicrous amounts of loot down players throats non-stop ever since Nioh 1. Luckily this game in particular makes ignoring that stuff relatively easy though, what with the optimize equipment button and all. Might leave you with decidedly suboptimal setups, but at least you have the option.
