Swim baits are fun and easy for calico but last year I used a 60g colt sniper during summer and it caught me bass, tuna, dorado and they last forever, probably my favorite all around lure

10 foot crankbait rod . . . that's awesome. Curious what # braid to fluro Erik uses on the weedless set-up, and if he ever throws the smaller weedless.

You can throw the smaller weedless baits on the 710H combo or you can add a 710M with a 200 sized reel full of 30-pound braid.

I too use to fish without gloves, maybe some of that tape on thumb to lip em. I now use gloves. Good advice Erik.

Seeker does still make the Inshore Pro rods. They’re really hard to find. All the tuna stuff is definitely where the demand is, but they do still make the ISP series and they’re fantastic. Got a few for myself recently when I could find them

@@MikeSmith-ym9eq which model? I use the 708 for calicos mostly, but also use the 706. They’re all fantastic for calicos and swimbaits for sure. I also caught a 15 pound yellow on my 708 with a tranx 300 last week at San Clemente island. You’ll love that rod
