I am glad at the end it become to use SPJ for catching them which I love to do and I always had good catches on it. Thanks for great clip in details as always. Love the longer videos.👍
Good advice for tournament, when you get that lazy no hope feeling after fishing for hrs without a bite start slowing down questioning whether your using the right bait, are the fish biting? I'm I in the wrong spot? That you get that first fish in three hrs! And it pumps you up all over again like if you just started fishing for the day! Forgetting about the last three hrs without a bite,it's like a game reset!
Loving the series. I see the 3 peice swimbait on the wall, have you found that to be a productive bait? I plan of fishing a glide bait this summer for Calico your thoughts?
I just got a tranx 200 8.5 gear ratio.... Im Thinking it's to fast for swimbaits , fishing calico, sand bass &Spotties in the harbor.. what do u think?
I noticed you have a 3oz lead head rigged to a slug. Do you use that at 100’ when the current is fast? Also I have some 8” flukes. How and when should I fish those?
Great video! Hey can we get the link to Eric’s lead head spring solder with assist hook he was talking about? Very trick. He said there was a previous BD video on it. Thanks 🤙🤙
I've never used slugs, I've always have used small , medium and large spouses for any kind of bass and I kill it! Their also great for small tuna,(10-20#). And they are stinking great for log barracuda!

We appreciate the feedback!
Great series. Thanks, Eric!
Great tutorial video for a beginner like me who is learning saltwater fishing in SoCal.
Thanks for tuning in!
Very insightful! Thanks!
Good thing I have a good supply of the Boxer heads. Not all of people fish them. Awesome for smaller baits.
Great advice, i've not caught a fish in CA yet so look forward to going out.
What did you use to pin the lure onto the barb?
I use a piece of bent single strand wire, but a bent paper clip would do the same job.

Calicos will definitely eat a glide bait.

That's a little on the quick side but it still should work. Might just have to turn the handle a little slower when presenting the lures.
Hey Eric. What model 3piece glide is that hangin on the peg?? Thanks Bud!
What size assist hook on the custom lead slug presentation?

I fish the 3 ounce on anything deeper than 100 feet. You can use the fluke in the same application
