My kids play animal crossing all the time right now ! I've started letting them go outside to ride bikes with friends (with a mask) and my son hurt his knee yesterday so he will be hitting the animal crossing pretty hardcore I'm sure. Everytime you talk about animal crossing I think of them and when they talk about it ,I think about you :)

I love the second look! I loved Angie’s version (and her), and yours is sooo cool! The first thing I thought when I saw it was “wow those lashes look great!” So you are right on about that kind of look accentuating them. I love how different techniques where you end up using less eyeshadow can end up being so impactful! It’s a good way to look hip and cool when you are running low on time, lol.
I am so glad that you did this palette. I got this for my Birthday back in December and fell in love with Melt and of course this palette! I now own 2 palettes from them.
I love both of these! Whenever I play with this palette it always ends up dark and smokey so its really cool to see some different ideas! Due to my eye shape I really struggle with eyeliner but I love the look of it, so this extended lower lash technique could really work for me and I will totally try it out! I love the Smashbox Lid Primer too - I was trying not to open it until I finished the Sigma one but I had to open it for my wedding day. I couldn’t go without it. 😂 I don’t set mine either - I dunno, I just like how my shadow blends without setting it. Love these looks! This such a grungy pretty palette. This series is so fun! 🧤

I sometimes set my primer in my crease and above. I have very deep set, half-hooded eyes with lots of crinkly foldy crepey lid skin that rubs against itself, so if it's even remotely tacky there everything grabs and is a patchy mess of wtf hell no. (I have and have always had ball sack lids ok) Thank you for this! I love the Gemini palette, it's so good! Both of these looks are 🔥🔥🔥

I think look #2 is my favorite personally because the color focused high better fits my eye shape haha. This pallette is one of my absolute favorites specifically for the black (Bonnie, I think it's called????). It's hands-down the best black in my collection. I use urban decay eyeshadow primer and I typically use a soft color to blend into my crease, I don’t put any on the lid but I feel it helps my transition colors blend

But these warm cheeks though 😍😍 it depends on the eye primer I use . I should probably write down when I use one if it works best when I set it with a powder or when I don't. I usually set one eye and not the other to test that theory out. Regardless , I'm team eye primer bc concealer creases on my oily kids and my shadow looks an entire mess
I got this with the recent sale too, along with most of the stacks, and the Vida and Radioactive palettes. I hope they restock Muerte, I'd me so upset if I missed out on that one its too stunning
💚 I just ordered this pallete and the Vida during the sale this weekend. Would have loved to get Muerte too but it was sold out but that's ok, in the fall I'm going to get the Rust one so maybe then I'll get Muerte too. Thought about the Smoke Sessions but I have just heard so many not good things about it so even on sale I still put it back. I have a smidge of self control left apparently 😅

I sometimes set my eyeshadow primer. There are some shadows that will. not. blend. without that slightly more powdery base. However, it obviously depends on the palette. 🍀🍀🍀🍀

I never set my eye primer anymore I used to back in the day like when I was in high school and UD Primer Potion was the only semi-decent primer available. I use NYX Jumbo Pencil in “Milk” now and I never set it.
Can you possibly do a video comparing the Melt Gemini Palette to the Kaleidos Futurism Palette 1: Sci-Fi Green? I've heard you can get similar looks from each and keep debating which one I want and a comparison would really help 💚
