I got the 420 palette too! I got the 27 palette at the 40% sale and they sent me the 420 instead. Then sent out the 27, let me keep the 420. So I got 2 palettes for 40$ (120$ worth) 😆🎃 melt she's in parties though, forever has my heart🍁

I tried to convince my husband to buy the ginormous Home Depot skeleton and he said no. “Where will we put it after Halloween.” I tried to tell him that everyday is Halloween and he can live on the deck in backyard all year. BEADS! Yes, making jewelry is fun and relaxing. I love finding a cute shirts/blouses at the thrift store, then going home and making a necklace to match it perfectly. I also match my makeup with the colors of the blouse. 🎃

We don't decorate much for holidays, because our apartment is very small and cluttered and there just isn't room for much. But I do some seasonal decorating. So fresh cut flowers in the spring and summer, pumpkins and broom corn and harvesty things in the fall, and pine boughs and string lights in the winter. And I burn and wear certain scents to match the seasons sometimes too. We usually have a pot of simmering cinnamon sticks on the range all winter that fills the house with a beautiful smell. As far as spooky Halloweeeny stuff, my house is already kind of witchy (lots of dried herbs, bones and rocks, weird art etc). But I'd like to have a house of my own one day that's more put together, and then I'd conceivably decorate more. I'm not into gore or super corny stuff either, but I'd do some spider webs and skulls for sure. Oh, I also love to dress up. And I like the idea of the morbid foods people create around Halloween (like fingers and worms and whatever). That stuff is fun.

I work for a bead store and yeah, it's fun to play with and easy to get addicted to. I actually have some beading I need to do for work. I sew as well and will be making my mother-in-law a purse for her birthday while we are over seeing her this next week.

Hello Betty Jean! This look was soo gorgeous! It's so weird, it's like you're using a different palette than all the other people that had huge issues with it. You and Melt totally agree :). After two weeks of our foul vaccianation, me and my boyfried went on vacation on a beautiful island that I've been wanting to go for years. After all this fear and quarantine it was like breathing again. I saw most of my friends again, that hadn't seen for 2 years cause of covid and I'm here in my hometown enjoying the beach and swimming that I love so much.

🍂 I don't decorate for any holidays or seasons, but I am also ready for fall. I am sick of the heat and forest fires. The smoke is/has been so thick that I brought out my Happy Light because I am already starting to feel the affects of seasonal affective disorder. We had a 2.5 days break from the smoke last weekend, but other than that I basically haven't seen the sun since the end of June.

I personally don’t decorate much for anything, mostly because I have an autoimmune disease that makes me exhausted literally all the time and I just don’t have the energy. And my honey’s working at a new job which is awesome after like three years being laid off, but he’s working crazy hours so he’s not around to help me. This is the first year in a while we could afford to get decorations, but now we don’t have the time/energy to put them up… lol, it’s always something 😂 I’m a practicing witch and pagan though so I do really love those vibes and everything that goes along with Halloween, so some day I’ll have a house full of ravens and skulls and goddesses and all kinds of cool things! Kinda like that coffee shop you showed us recently but without the taxidermy lol, as I’m also vegan (but maybe they’d be fun to pet all day!). I love vintage Halloween like the 50s with the cats. But I like the classic fall too. My favorite decoration is good for Halloween and Thanksgiving...a glass pumpkin from hobby lobby. And I love my fall yankee candle accessories. I think its time to decorate even though its 100 degrees out 🤣🥺.

I've been loving Whatever Palette from Colourpop for Fall and I am ready for it as well. Minnesota is also super hot and dry so we are praying and hoping for Rain for the crops. Bath and Body already have their Fall Stuff out and Scents. The Scent I've been loving from Bath and Body Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte and Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin. Minnesota is Beautiful in the Fall.
I have a lot of natural freckles but they are not as noticeable after my makeup. You really make me want to add freckles after my complexion products ❤️

I have evert Melt palette except MaryJane and while I have had issues with some individual shades I’ve never had a bad experience with an entire palette.

I love this color story, but I’m still hesitant to buy it. The Kaleidos Flower Punk palette is quenching my longing for grungy greens at the moment. I did recently purchase the Shes In Parties palette though, and I can’t wait to dig into it! I’m so excited to decorate for Halloween! I moved, so decorating will be different this year. I’m close to my family, when normally I’m on the other side of the country, so I’m excited to go decor shopping, visiting pumpkin patches, drinking apple cider, getting pumpkin spice everything even though the cool kids roll their eyes, carving pumpkins and roasting the seeds to eat, watching spooky movies, going to haunted houses, and just soaking in all the Halloween vibes with them.
This eye lool is STUNNING. You look wonderful. Everyone says the four twenty palette is meh.. But i love melt. So I haven't bought it. And everyone also says those rare beauty blushes arent pigmented or long lasting. However i know you only like pigmented blushes so maybe those people are crazy lol. Maybe ill still pick one up.
Hearing you talk about decorating for Halloween in your new house seriously got me emotional. I have lived in Florida for 40 years, and my husband and i have been together for 30 of them...we have built quite a great life here. Well, he just got a promotion, and we will be moving to Minnesota in 2 weeks. I'm super excited but also sad and nervous and overwhelmed...lol literally every emotion several times a day. We won't be selling our house here; our oldest son will move in and take care of the house while we are gone, so i don't need to pack everything (thank goodness!), but i will definitely be bringing my Xmas and Halloween decorations with us...gotta have some bits of familiar come with us! Not gonna miss the heat or the hurricanes, but the people and places we love...that's hard.
I want fall so bad right now. It's currently 32 Celsius (89 F) where I live right now. But it feels like 40 (104 F) with the humidity so it's hard to pretend that its spooky season. Despite that, I started decorating for Halloween a couple days ago lol. I like decor that's spooky but not overly scary.🍂🍁
Today I'm just chilling and getting ready for work. It's not looking great because we are going to be down at least one person but fingers crossed that it will go by quickly and without too much chaos. I'm also preparing for a massive no buy, starting September 1st I am not buying any eyeshadows for a year. I just have too many to rotate through them properly right now and I'm not necessarily ready for a declutter, it's the only item of makeup I buy constantly. Like I have one concealer, one mascara, a few blushes, a few highlights, and then BOOM 21 palettes and however many singles. I'm allowing myself one more new palette and a few indie singles before I embark on my journey. Maybe Melt would be a good choice for me, I love their color stories but the price and reputation always holds me back. I hear mixed reviews constantly
Hello!!! Just got back from m'y vacation! I am in Montréal. Almost home!! 1 last 3h train tomorrow. :) We went west and paid most of the things with membership points (bus/train/hôtel...) To be able to keep money for fun activities. So sad it's over! But the Valley was covered in smoke again so it was time to go. (The Smokanagan Valley as they call it) 🍷🌲

Hello Betty Jean! This look was soo gorgeous! It's so weird, it's like you're using a different palette than all the other people that had huge issues with it. You and Melt totally agree :). After two weeks of our foul vaccianation, me and my boyfried went on vacation on a beautiful island that I've been wanting to go for years. After all this fear and quarantine it was like breathing again. I saw most of my friends again, that hadn't seen for 2 years cause of covid and I'm here in my hometown enjoying the beach and swimming that I love so much.
I just ordered the wilderness palette the other day too. Im so excited for it to come and watch the videos you post using it! 🥰

Fall season here = rainy season so that kind of puts a damper on Halloween sometimes - but a little rain would be welcome cause there are forest fires raging nearby 🔥 🌲 ☔️
🍂 I don't decorate for any holidays or seasons, but I am also ready for fall. I am sick of the heat and forest fires. The smoke is/has been so thick that I brought out my Happy Light because I am already starting to feel the affects of seasonal affective disorder. We had a 2.5 days break from the smoke last weekend, but other than that I basically haven't seen the sun since the end of June.

I feel like it must be super fun for your friends and family to stop over at your house and BAM - It’s HALLOWEEN!!! I personally don’t decorate much for anything, mostly because I have an autoimmune disease that makes me exhausted literally all the time and I just don’t have the energy. And my honey’s working at a new job which is awesome after like three years being laid off, but he’s working crazy hours so he’s not around to help me. This is the first year in a while we could afford to get decorations, but now we don’t have the time/energy to put them up… lol, it’s always something 😂 I’m a practicing witch and pagan though so I do really love those vibes and everything that goes along with Halloween, so some day I’ll have a house full of ravens and skulls and goddesses and all kinds of cool things! Kinda like that coffee shop you showed us recently but without the taxidermy lol, as I’m also vegan (but maybe they’d be fun to pet all day!). I’m looking forward to seeing your vlog about decorating!!
I love vintage Halloween like the 50s with the cats. But I like the classic fall too. My favorite decoration is good for Halloween and Thanksgiving...a glass pumpkin from hobby lobby. And I love my fall yankee candle accessories. I think its time to decorate even though its 100 degrees out 🤣🥺.

I've been loving Whatever Palette from Colourpop for Fall and I am ready for it as well. Minnesota is also super hot and dry so we are praying and hoping for Rain for the crops. Bath and Body already have their Fall Stuff out and Scents. The Scent I've been loving from Bath and Body Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte and Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin. Minnesota is Beautiful in the Fall.
I have a lot of natural freckles but they are not as noticeable after my makeup. You really make me want to add freckles after my complexion products ❤️

I am extra excited for this Halloween because my kids/animals are finally old enough for me to decorate without having to be in a constant state of hovering to make sure no one is eating or destroying things they shouldn't be. I'm so glad ur doing this review. I really wanted this pallette till I heard terrible things about it. But you helped me realize it's all about personal preference. So I've taken more chances on pallettes that don't have the greatest reviews. But Ive mostly had good luck with them.

I love this color story, but I’m still hesitant to buy it. The Kaleidos Flower Punk palette is quenching my longing for grungy greens at the moment. I did recently purchase the Shes In Parties palette though, and I can’t wait to dig into it!
I’m so excited to decorate for Halloween! I moved, so decorating will be different this year. I’m close to my family, when normally I’m on the other side of the country, so I’m excited to go decor shopping, visiting pumpkin patches, drinking apple cider, getting pumpkin spice everything even though the cool kids roll their eyes, carving pumpkins and roasting the seeds to eat, watching spooky movies, going to haunted houses, and just soaking in all the Halloween vibes with them.
This eye lool is STUNNING. You look wonderful. Everyone says the four twenty palette is meh.. But i love melt. So I haven't bought it. And everyone also says those rare beauty blushes arent pigmented or long lasting. However i know you only like pigmented blushes so maybe those people are crazy lol. Maybe ill still pick one up.
Hearing you talk about decorating for Halloween in your new house seriously got me emotional. I have lived in Florida for 40 years, and my husband and i have been together for 30 of them...we have built quite a great life here. Well, he just got a promotion, and we will be moving to Minnesota in 2 weeks. I'm super excited but also sad and nervous and overwhelmed...lol literally every emotion several times a day. We won't be selling our house here; our oldest son will move in and take care of the house while we are gone, so i don't need to pack everything (thank goodness!), but i will definitely be bringing my Xmas and Halloween decorations with us...gotta have some bits of familiar come with us! Not gonna miss the heat or the hurricanes, but the people and places we love...that's hard.

Went to bath and body works to buy the new Halloween candles!! Starting my decorating yesterday with Halloween mesh from dollar tree.
I want fall so bad right now. It's currently 32 Celsius (89 F) where I live right now. But it feels like 40 (104 F) with the humidity so it's hard to pretend that its spooky season. Despite that, I started decorating for Halloween a couple days ago lol. I like decor that's spooky but not overly scary.🍂🍁
Today I'm just chilling and getting ready for work. It's not looking great because we are going to be down at least one person but fingers crossed that it will go by quickly and without too much chaos. I'm also preparing for a massive no buy, starting September 1st I am not buying any eyeshadows for a year. I just have too many to rotate through them properly right now and I'm not necessarily ready for a declutter, it's the only item of makeup I buy constantly. Like I have one concealer, one mascara, a few blushes, a few highlights, and then BOOM 21 palettes and however many singles. I'm allowing myself one more new palette and a few indie singles before I embark on my journey. Maybe Melt would be a good choice for me, I love their color stories but the price and reputation always holds me back. I hear mixed reviews constantly
Hello!!! Just got back from m'y vacation! I am in Montréal. Almost home!! 1 last 3h train tomorrow. :) We went west and paid most of the things with membership points (bus/train/hôtel...) To be able to keep money for fun activities. So sad it's over! But the Valley was covered in smoke again so it was time to go. (The Smokanagan Valley as they call it) 🍷🌲

After watching this video the other night I bought the pallette because beauty bay has been having a big sale on melt and I want to do this look so badly and then maybe when I can I can buy all their lipsticks and stuff while they are having such a huge sale !! Also do you think that this would be a good companion pallette to the vida?Vida?? I have Vida already and wondering about using the shimmers from Vida with 420 ?? Also I got some of the melt blushes in creams and powders and highlighters on sale too

Halloween decoration is basically non existant in France (yeah, big sad) but I loved the Ghoul Garden form Target (couldn't get it but enjoyed it on my computer) and I like pumpkins in general 🍁🥧
